Jule 3rd, 2098. Glory to the Motherland, Death to Raritania
Interception and Defense
Above: Soviet S-900s intercepting TUI missiles in the Caucuses.
As TUI missiles continue being launched towards the Federation, Soviet Air Defense Systems and their crews have been hard at work. With an incredibly high interception rate. However, concerns about the fact these missiles are coming out of neutral countries is causing problems with Soviet Command as the Federation for the time being is unable to retaliate to these strikes and destroy those weapon platforms. That was the case until the President Morkav warned the Sedrosian Government that the Federation will be forced to retaliate against these defensive attacks from TUI and urged them to move their offensive forces out of Sedroasia.
The Soviet Aerospace Force has also fully mobilized, taking a while due to a couple Soviet Air Bases being hit, and many ships soldiers of the Aerospace Force being on leave during the outbreak of war. Su-89s along with reconnaissance drones, have now begun patrolling Soviet Airspace and have been relatively successful in thwarting enemy Aerial incursions, such as the 9th Combat Air Squadron successfully intercepting TUI aircraft off the Far Eastern coast. With Soviet AWACS providing surveillance and recon for aircraft and air defense systems. Soviet Aircraft have made several hit and run attacks in the Bering Strait, with 2 enemy ships being destroyed, however 12 Soviet aircraft were lost during these attacks compared to the enemy's 4. These reckless hit and runs tactics may soon be retired however.
Naval Battles and Surprises
Above: Ural Class Destroyer firing an anti-ship missile against TUI Warships in the Marmara Sea.
Battle of Marmara Sea
The Soviet Black Sea Fleet and the Soviet Mediterranean Fleet entered the Marmara Sea from the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Due to the TUI’s Navy wanting to keep their distance from the Soviet Navy, Admiral Petronas and Admiral Traskov of the Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea Fleets were able to force the United Imperial Fleet into a deathtrap. Explosions rocked the sea as missiles, rockets and torpedoes were launched back and forth, as Soviet kamikaze drones smashed into TUI bridges, leaving many of their ships useless. Despite their best efforts, the TUI ships were quickly overwhelmed by the Federation's overwhelming firepower. With the battle won, the Blockade on the Black Sea is now finally over.
The 2nd Battle of the Baltic Sea
Above: EMP Blast
The SNS St. Peter a Volga Class Heavy Cruiser has surrendered itself to the TUI and Victorian Naval Forces in the Baltic Sea, suddenly a powerful surge that extended from a 100 nautical miles from the source, the ships of Victoria and TUI suddenly suffered power outages and with their weapon systems rendered inoperable, the Soviet Baltic Fleet has launched another attack against the Victorian and TUI Warships in the Baltic Sea, with everything completely fried, the enemy ships could not only flee but they also couldn't fight back against the Fleet. A TUI Aircraft Carrier was also destroyed. The vast majority of the enemy crews did surrender however, with almost upwards of 30-40k Prisoners of War. Admiral Zrakin of the Baltic Fleet has officially declared that the Baltic Sea has been liberated, however notes while this attack was in fact effective, the chances of the enemy falling this again is next to none. The Weapon that was used was EMP Bomb, called the TX-008 Magnit. These weapons are in limited production and are in very small stock due to their price, and the complications of actually producing these weapons.
New Soviet Naval Tactics
Due to the new tactics being implemented by the United Imperial Navy, Soviet Naval Command has saw fit to do the same against the United Imperial Navy.
Full Scale Retaliation.
Above: Kr-92 Kroshav Ballistic Missile being launched towards Point Lay.
The initial promises of the Soviet Federation not retaliating against the MDP's that fight for TUI and Raritania has been fully revoked due to recent transgressions. 4 RT-017 Kalibre Ballistic Missiles have been launched towards the Zukesan mainland, Nysh and Sakhalin were both hit, hitting the industrial areas.
Meanwhile 5 Halo-009 Thermobaric Missiles have been launched towards Hakkaido, targeting their ports and drydocks, following their declaration of war over the Federation's promises to hit TUI mainland, which the Kremlin found not only distasteful but also hypocritical. With the head of the Foreign Ministry stating that the Ajakon Confederation has always followed this weird ideal "Rules for Thee but not for me” They truly believe that they are always the exception and that they alone should dictate terms. As of now 3 Kalibre's were launched towards Anchorage.
State of the Federation
The Soviet Federation is in a state of war with the following countries, Raritania, TUI, Areulia, Zukesa, Victoria and the Ajakon Confederation.
In Moscow, crowds up people are chanting TRD, which stands for Total Raritanian Death.
The Soviet Federation has signed two weapons deals with the country of Nexiren and Johore, with Johore opening up the Malacca strait for Soviet non military vessels. Moscow has also offered to help make factories for these countries so they could produce these weapons on their own.
Due to recent collapse of the blockade the Black Sea, Soviet shipping has nearly returned to normal in the Mediterranean with only a few isolated attacks.
Soviet War Production has sky rocketed due to the war, with Military Production across all facilities reaching a 40% increase, except the facilities in Crimea due to the recent strikes there.
The Ukrainian SSR Navy and the Surriland Navy have been fully modernized, and retrofitted to Soviet Standards, now many Naval Officers are looking at promotions and being in charge of their new ships, with new sailors being assigned to these vessels.
