THE UNION GAZETTE

Uniting India, since 2092

28th August, 2097 (International Edition)

Member States and Map

The regions of the Union of India have slightly changed, while no new ones have been added, borders have been redrawn for some. Nebelystan has expanded into Arabia through a deal made with the British Empire, buying Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Neyipitoya has slightly changed its borders now governing Northern Laos.

Zullimanistan had also collapsed quite a while ago and its former territories are mostly parts of Nebelystan. These changes have brought the above mentioned territories into the control of the Union of India. The overall map has changed significantly, here is the Map of the Union of India as of 2097.

There is also more news related to member states. New regions want to be integrated into the Union, namely Chola (claiming Sind and Gujarat) and Heshemites (claiming Hormozgan, Iranian Baluchistan, Pakistani Baluchistan, Pakistani Punjab and Indian Punjab).

The decision on admitting these nations into the Union of India will happen as a vote which will be in (IRL) May. Nebelystan has agreed to provide Heshemites with Pakistani Baluchistan if they are brought in. Until then, all aforementioned territories are still under current governance.

Isolation Of The Union

The Union of India is officially in isolation with most regions not taking part in worldwide affairs. Though this is true, some member states such as the Greater Indian Republic and Nebelystan have continued their presence on the world stage. This is shown by Nebelystan joining the Global Economic and Defensive Organization (GEDO), an alliance.

The isolationist state of most regions makes the Union of India go through a phase of Internal Development where International events are usually not responded too. This state has existed ever since the Third Confrontasi (Indo-Tania War) which ended in 2094.

Writer's Note

Hey everyone, this is just the Non-RP explanation of this bulletin.

This bulletin was an update on the state of the Union of India. In real life this bulletin translates to most member states of the Union of India continuing to take a break so that they can study for exams. This does NOT mean their territory is available but rather suggests that their nations are in an isolationalist state.

Me, Nebelystan and Neyipitoya are still active and continue to run the Union. The entirity of the Union will most likely be active in around May. Until then all member applications are paused. But other memebrs if the Union of India might come back from their break before May.

Also, the Union of India is not any alliance. It is only one nation formed by combining many regions into a single, unified state. The different parts of the Union of India are not nations but rather member states or regions. The Union of India is a single nation.

Thank you for reading this bulletin, I wish you a great day.

@Melon

Not just me, as I mentioned in the bulletin, the Union of India is a Union of Regions that were nations before, basically there are many people who run the nation of Union of India. Also I’m not sure if we are the strongest but we definitely are a very strong power. Superpower? Well that’s left to the RP community to decide.

@Soviet Federation

Thanks.

You could be a superpower if you wanted

@Raritania

Not me, the entire Union of India. And well I think we do deserve the title of Superpower. We have by far the largest population, all our militaries combined would be gargantuan, our combined GDP is pretty high. I’m gonna ask it in the Bulletin RP server.
