Economic Crisis

Due to that blockade of the Suez Canal that Sedrosia has done, and the government slowly running out of money due to multiple huge projects at one, such as the Mech Factory and The Melonese Space Program, it has been a rather difficult year. Many protests have started in big cities such as Havana, Paris, and Ankara. The Melon plans to take big action to stop the Crisis. Most people think that a reason for the Economic Crisis is because Vietnam has been taken from The Melon, and Vietnam was quite valuable. Since Vietnam has been taken from them, The Melon plans to Send over ships to French Guiana in hope of establishing a colony. The colony will help to grow the economy, The Melon has also decided to demilitarize in hope of saving money. (Hey I just learned that the A&SPA is gone, so we are now gonna send ships to Vietnam, not French Guiana, thank you, so please ignore any parts with Vietnam in it).

With this new news that the A&SPA has been demolished, The Melon has decided that they must re-colonize Vietnam. But this time not just the tiny part, this time we will colonize the ENTIRETY of Vietnam. Many Vietnamese refugees have celebrated that Vietnam can finally be Melonese again. The Melonese Government has announced they will put up a Melonese puppet state called Melonese Vietnam (possible other names are Free Vietnam or just Vietnam, still deciding on what to call it. By colonizing Vietnam, The Melon will gain an estimated 90 million more people (I did the math and accounted for loss of life in wars). With this news that Vietnam is free, The Melon has announced they will not be sending ships to French Guiana. Currently in Vietnam, no ships have been sent yet, but we are preparing to send ships. We also have ordered all Melonese remaining in Vietnam to hold Old Melonese Vietnam, and to not advance into the rest of Vietnam until further notice.
