Ties cut with Soviet Federation

The aftermath of the Valencia crisis has brought about a major shift in both Lunorian foreign policy and way of life.

On the side of good changes, we have the acquisition of a large chunk of lberian land, with Lunoria effectively being guaranteed ownership of the entire penisula except for the city of Valencia (Italy only gets the city, not the province)

However, not everything has gone well for the Iberian State as relations with Italy are at an all time low and the Soviet Federation turned its back on Iberia.

They have denounced us as a "nation of cowards" and repeatedly shown their hostile intentions towards our government and people. On top of this, they have recently signed an MDP with Italy in an attempt to force Iberia into submission. These slights cannot go ignored and from this day forward, the government of Iberia completely severs all friendly ties to the Soviet Federation, declaring them a hostile power in the process. Foriegn policy has been shifted to be very anti Soviet, shifting to be more pro TUI. Waves of anti Soviet gatherings have taken place in major Iberian cities and it is clear that friendly relations may never be restored

Iberia offers hand of friendship to The United Imperium, requests made to build an embassy in their nation

With relations being severed with the Soviets and Iberia seemingly shifting its loyalties, the Caudillo has sent a "letter of friendship" to The United Imperium, expressing the desire to strengthen ties between the American and Iberian people. To start off this relation building, the government has offered to fund the construction of an Iberian and Imperium embassy in both nations respectively.
