President Thomson signs bill increasing government spending

A new bill has recently been ratified giving the government a higher amount of money to spend. This new government spending aims to drastically increase the budget of both the Department of Defense and Department of Infrastructure so that the nation may expand its armed forces and construct more habitation for the rapidly growing population. To accompany the new Military spending, the government has also announced that a military draft shall be put in order in a few months time. The program will have all males from ages 18-28 put their name in the system (once 17 year olds turn 18 they put down their name) and a certain number of the “draftees” will be put into military service with only those considered “prime troop candidates” actually being picked (basically anyone who doesn’t have a good reason not to be pulled into service).
