The New Carolinian Military has recently developed some missile launch pads on the central Hatteras islands, as well as some in the western city of Wright. The new launch pad's construction was kept a high priority state secret, but was declassified this morning after President Cullen Summers announced the founding of the "Carolinian Ballistic Missile Program" (CBMP) and that the construction of the first few missile launch pads were complete.

Following the end of the conference, the RNC Militarian Leadership Committee discussed with President Summers over leadership of the Carolinian Missile Program, and nominated Theodore Jackson as Director of the CBMP. Jackson is the Admiral of the 3rd CGN Naval Fleet. In his experiences he has had 13 naval battle victories, and a lot of experience with advanced naval missile and torpedo systems.

After his nomination, Jackson accepted the position. Director Jackson later declared in a speech "I thank the committee and President Summers for allowing me this position. This new program will expand our free nations military might. No warlord shall tread on us."

This new missile program shall undoubtedly keep the Republic of New Carolina an established, free nation in the Americas.                               323fd340093a3e40aec86da8649f3a6a737c08ddx748.jpg                                                                                                                                                                                                        Photograph of Director Jackson

President Summers did reveal to the public that these missiles have not been tested yet, rising some concerns in the safety of the CBMP system, but experts have laid some worries to rest, leaving everybody in Carolina optimistic for their great nations future.
