Combat Report: Operation Oranje.

Operatie Oranje:

Operatie Oranje (Operation Orange) is a combat operation involving a Dutch takeover in Suriname. Consistent requests by Dutch Majority for temporary Dutch Mandate. Lands in chaos, ethnic tensions and hostile neighbors. Approved by the President and the Ministry of Defense. DCH as operation base. Land will be safekept until a NEW player claims it as their mainland.

Objective: Ending ethnic tensions, ending ethnic discrimination, restoring order, safekeeping the land.

Operation Command:

Nederlandse Marine: Admiral Katrien de Lange, Vice Admiral Peter Horst.
Nederlands Grondleger: Supreme Commander Koen Winkelman, General André 't Loo, General Pieter Ouwehand.

 

Dedicated Forces:

Nederlandse Marine: 1 helicopter carrier, 5 destroyers, 10 frigates, 15 troop transport ships, a lot of landing crafts.
Nederlands Grondleger: 25.000 soldiers, 200 N-21's, 500 S-12's, 350 Postduif's, 200 APC's, 200 pieces of artillery, 200 anti aircraft systems and a lot of supply vehicles.

 

Combat Report:

  • 26-11-2092. 13:00: Operation Oranje approved. South American fleet and part of DCH garrison ordered to move to target.
  • 29-11-2092. 22:00: Military assets moving to Suriname.
  • 2-12-2092. 10:00: Dutch forces landing in Paramaribo. Combat between Dutch majority and ethnic minorities. 
  • 2-12-2092. 11:00: Permission to engage granted: battle for Paramaribo begins. Goal: capture Paramaribo, end ethnic warfare.
  • 2-12-2092. 16:00: Begin of the blitz, regular guerilla attacks by ethnic minorities. Permission granted to engage after giving the attackers a chance to surrender.
  • 2-12-2092. 22:00: 32 Dutch soldiers wounded after guerilla attack. 53 guerilla's captured, 10 wounded and 5 killed.
  • 3-12-2092. 1:00: Dutch Surinamers in Paramaribo disarmed by Dutch soldiers.
  • 3-12-2092 7:00: Ethnic minorities disarmed and sent home, military rule in Paramaribo established. 
  • 3-12-2092 14:00: Dutch soldiers travelling through Jungles attacked, 12 dead, 15 wounded. Attackers escaped.
  • 3-12-2092 15:20: General Pieter Ouwehand offers ethnic minority leaders a fairly represented government in return for accepting the Dutch mandate.
  • 3-12-2092 16:00 Seperate ethnic fighters radio messages requesting an end of the guerilla attack and calls for cooperation with the Dutch majority under Dutch oversight. 

Future:

  • 8-12-2092: Planned operation end date. Suriname is expected to become a province of the Dutch Republic until another nation claims it as it's mainland.
  • 15-12-2092: Elections for local government of Suriname. 
  • 1-1-2093: Peace and stability returned to Suriname under Dutch rule.

No Gran Colombia annexed Guyana

@Temprano. Guyana is part of Colombia. Suriname is not Guyana.

@Clownz. Thanks for the offer but reinforcements from the mainland are on the way, to establish the Suriname garrison after the operation so I think we'll be fine.

Going after other lands because they have a similar ethnic backround to you... where have I seen this before :troll:

I go after lands which have similar background to me AND also experienced better lives under Dutch rule, at least for some part. 

The Poles have only been wiped out under foreign rule and forcing them to submit to communism again isn't leading them to any better future. Solidarność.
