Brief Summary

After classified negotiations between the Ukrainian government and an unknown entity, Ukraine was given possession of 50 XL-400 missiles and 25 XL-450s to use against Zetenka. This boost to the Ukrainian missile forces qas exactly what Ukraine would need to cripple Zetenka and push into Crimea at last. Now they give Zetenka a chance to surrender.

Ukrainian Headquarters

The promised to be ruler of Greater Ukraine Colonel Anton Tytovsky walks in to a room with the Soviet puppet governor

Tytovsky: hello governor, making retirement plans are we

the governor looks up

Governor: What is it Tytovsky, what do you want

Tytovsky: Well it seems like negotiations went well considering that we were given 75 missiles to use on Zetenka, I'd like permission to order those launched

the governor looks amused

Governor: we've been launching missiles for several months now and you now expect a different result, do you remember the definition of insanity

The colonel pulls out a map with rough sketches of zetenkan positions and begins to explain the when where and how of the entire plan

Tytovsky: Decent plan after all, dont you think, we've been launching missiles at their bases this whole time so they likely won't expect us to drop them on actual ground troops, let alone to use parts of the XL series, which only select few nations have built.

the governor signs a piece of paper

Governor: very well, perhaps the Kremlin wasn't mistaken to hand Ukraine over to you

Tytovsky: Well im a good commander according to my men, the people support me, I'm not completely stupid, and I know how to keep Ukraine and the Kremlin happy

Actual Battle

The orders were given, the documents signed, WMDs shall now be used officially on Zetenka and this war shall now become more serious for Ukrainian command. The first 15 missiles were launched, but strangely enough, came from the far east. Around 11 of these managed to hit factories where Zetenkan military vehicles were being constructed. Zetenkan command originally believing that this was a Soviet missile barrage, began to prepare for further missiles to be shot at their bases and factories, they were dead wrong. 5 XL-450s were launched at the Crimean border, just behind the Zetenkan soldiers. Only one would miss and land in the Black sea off the Crimean coast. The others would explode on impact and decimate Zetenkan Artillery and Armored Divisions along the coast. Immediately afterward, Ukrainian Artillery divisions were given permission to open fire, this resulted in Zetenkan trenches and defenses being caught in flames and explosions from both sides. When the Artillery had ceased, the Ukrainians advanced forward killing any Zetenkan soldier that they came across, the orders from the surprisingly ruthless Colonel Tytovsky were simple, "Until I say otherwise, spare no one". By the time the first push was finished, approximately 120,000 Zetenkans had been slaughtered and due to Zetenkan losing so much armor and Artillery due to the XL-450s, only 32,000 Ukrainians had died. This overwhelming victory had put Ukraine at a huge advantage, however Ukraine realizes that with troops from both sides now deep in the mountains, the soon to come battles could benefit neither side, with the Zetenkans having more mountain experience, and the Ukrainians having the ability to use their explosives to bury the Zetenkan forces with rockslides. So the Ukrainian command has decided to offer Zetenka the chance to surrender in exchange for a much more lenient treaty than originally planned. (Basically if he surrenders now, I won't banish him to Guyana)

Thats obviously not the whole deal but ey, might as well make the deal clear

My demands

  • The current government of Zetenka is to step down and Recon is to be placed on a type of house arrest until further notice
  • The government of Zetenka will be replaced by a more democratic one (or at the very least, one that supports the Soviets and Ukrainians a little more)
  • NAP between Zetenka and Me/my allies
  • Zetenka is to never again attempt to conquer Southern Ukraine as it once did (just a security measure you know)

In return:

  • Ukraine shall pay for all damages to Zetenka caused by the war
  • Economic pact between our two nations (Basically ill help out his economy and industry)
  • Ukraine shall guarantee Zetenkan independence if Zetenka plays nice
  • Zetenkan trade ships may have access to certain Ukrainian ports

Honestly, that deal isn’t so bad considering they were going to banish him to guyana. I’ve supported Zetenka this whole time and I think this deal will actually benefit him.
