Separtist Paper

While much of the Fedaration rejoices as the end of the war comes, us Ukrainians and even Southern Belarusians have found no reason to rejoice. For once again due to Soviet incompetence, we are made to suffer. This has been quite well covered in the news already (or should I say Covered Up). But around 3 days after Ukrainian troops arrived back home, an explosion could be heard from the outskirts of Kiev. A Soviet built power plant has exploded. But this wasn't any normal power plant, no, this was an experimental Hydro Plant located on the river Kiev sits on. Our sources tell us that machinery inside of the plant was bought using faulty and cheap parts. Eventually the machinery would fail and cause an explosion of steam and debris that would kill 15 workers and injure a further 27. Most egregiously of all, the Soviets have decided to pay for the costs of the damage and to bring power back to Kiev using Ukrainian tax money. They have also called the explosion a freak accident and have decided that reparations to the affected families wi not be needed. Any articles referring to this fact and referring to the faulty parts have been taken down and its poster put under investigation for misinformation. Yes Indeed, this is the true face of the Soviets and its corrupt rulers. Shall we stand for this, of course not. So take to the streets in protest, and state your desire for improvement. Demand that the corrupt puppet governor of the Ukrainian SSR step down.
