Ever since the Sedrosian government went into Hiatus, warlords settled the Levant area. Cartels, Mafias, Criminal collectives and the like have found their home in the ever unstable area of the Middle East. That is, until recently. Recently, a threat to the criminal order of the area has risen. A group of Mercenaries, calling themselves the Leviathan Private Military Corporation appeared in the formerly Lucraian Palestinian Region, where warlords lived an anarchist's dream. Concerns arose among the Crime families when, one after one, Leviathan took out the local warlords, soon not only reuniting the region, but also expanding into the Sinai Peninsula, reaching all the way up to the Suez Canal, effectively putting it under their control. Not long after, Leviathan started expanding again. Transjordan, a region long under Sedrosian control, was overwhelmed by thousands of soldiers destroying generations old criminal empires in the blink of an eye, causing an almost hysteric reaction in Jordanian Crime families. A mass exodus happened in the region, often leaving only small, relatively unknown gangs left to face the biggest threat to their established lives since the Sedrosian Empire settled in the region. After Leviathan took Transjordan, however, they suddenly stopped. While in Syria and Arabia, crime families fight over territories, Leviathan PMC is now gathering its strength, offering services to foreign governments to help them in their mindless squabbles over useless reasons.

Soon after, an explosion, a bit south of Damascus rocks the area. Rumour has it, the Damascan Cartel dared poke the giant.
