In an unexpected and surprising move, the leader of the Social Party (Elowen Richards) announced a confidence and supply agreement with the Conservative Party (led by Boris Johnson).

This move means that the Labour Party (led by the President Martin ap Daniel) has now lost all control of the legislature.

Elowen Richards released this statement:

"Political stability is vital in the next few years, and the Social Party have been deliberating regarding the best way to ensure this.

Keeping the status quo was not an option, and the Labour Party has demonstrated its sheer incompetency and failure in government.

Therefore we have decided to engage with the Conservative Party in talks. This will not be a formal coalition government but will be run in a Confidence and Supply format.

I am looking forward to carrying out the policies that this country needs to develop"

Boris Johnson has not released a statement

The President told reporters before the announcment:

"I don't want to comment on hypotheticals, but if the Social Party has made an agreement with the Conservatives it shows the utter hypocrisy from Elowen Richards. The public will see right through her and see that she is there for power, not for any gain for the country"

Labour Party members have been chosen as speakers in both houses

The 2 legislative houses now look like the following:
