New nations appearing soon in SA? | Sanches gathers with Council to discuss plans to free occupied territories

Igua-sul's expansion in South America happened quickly last year, guided by the Atlantic and Pacific Security Accords (A&PSA), with the crucial helping hand of Dauchh Palki and New Olsztyn against colonialist powers such as Communist Britain, who held oppressed lands in Brazil.

APSA's directorship took the decision to deliver the conquered territories over to Igua-sul, mainly due to the historical context, cultural ties and obviously the common Portuguese language, resulting in the land being pacified and integrated temporarily by the management of Curitiba.

In response to the soft pressure from citizens, peoples from the occupied areas, general media and the leaders of APSA to free the lands as it was the initial objective of the coalition, a reunion starring the National Council and the President of the Republic was required today at the government seat Cede Vila Torres.

The goal was to settle an official agreement on how to proceed with the ownership of the occupied territories. 20 minutes after the session opened Sanches soon came up with a proposal to release five states under the names Republic of Amazonas, Republic of Centro-Oeste, State of Pará, Maranhão, and Tocantins.

The chairman of the Nation's Council, Plastina Raduan, also shared his own counter-proposal, instead of dividing SA into five new states, he thought of releasing two: Republic of Goiás and Grão-Pará.

This caused a split in opinions and sparked a debate between the two leaders. Sanches emphasized that the ethnic minor differences across Brazil should be taken into consideration, and that Raduan's plan represented a risk to the harmony between the new countries, as many people within the borders wouldn't really feel represented.

"We cannot put millions and millions locked inside of a few fences; There are people who think differently, have different accents, unique cuisine, music, wearings and much more. We need more borders so we give one to each one of them, and everybody feels represented by their own flag."

Raduan, on the other hand, argued that the creation of lots of new republics or states would lead to further division and conflict. He suggested that only two divisions would be necessary, gaining the support of practically all of the other councilors.

After three hours of discussion, the President and Chairman seemed to agree on something. In an effort to reach a decision, the leaders opted to let the people themselves to do it. In the following weeks representatives from several cities across the occupied lands will be invited to the capital to vote on what plan will be implemented, listed below is the list of cities given the right to send a voter to Curitiba.
