Supplies of food are holding out not just nationally, but the global market is able to meet the world demand... if you can afford the price if you have no farms. The price of food has been higher than it currently is.
This poses the question. Is nuclear war good for the economy...are the capitalists responsible, not national capitalists, but the capitalist system?.
Does nuclear war benefit the large agrian economies?. The rich farmers with their large agriculture monopolies. Could the King Surfer be considering switching from a mining and industrial economy to a farming nation at some future date?
