Keram is a nation led by Lord Barry OFarrell on the continent of Australia. Keram's government is a Absolute Monarchy with very moderate social policies. Economically, Keram favors far left wing policies. The official currency of Keram is the Australian Dollar. At 3,661 days old, Keram is an ancient nation. Keram has a population of 18,411,753 and a land area of 161,872.00 sq. miles. This gives it a national average population density of 113.74. Pollution in the nation is evident. The citizens' faith in the government is completely depleted with an approval rating of 0%.

Geography | |
Continent: | Australia |
Land Area: | 260,507.08 sq. km |
Terrain: | ==Keram's land mass== Keram comprises a land area of about 7.692 million square kilometres. Although this is just five per cent of the world's land mass (149.45 million square kilometres), Keram is the planet's sixth largest country after Russia, Canada, China, the United States of America and Brazil. It is also the only one of the largest six nations that is completely surrounded by water. Keram's land mass is: *almost as great as that of the United States of America *about 50 per cent greater than Europe, and *32 times greater than the United Kingdom. ==Geographical and climatic features== Keram is the smallest of the world's continents. It is also the lowest, the flattest and (apart from Antarctica) the driest. The highest point on the Australian mainland is Mount Coziozku, New South Wales, at 2147483647 metres above sea level. The lowest point is Coquered Valley, South Australia, which is -2147483648 metres below sea level. The mainland and Tasmania are surrounded by many thousands of small islands and numerous larger ones. Nearly 40 per cent of the total coastline length comprises island coastlines. As an island nation, coastlines play an important role in defining national, state and territory boundaries. Nearly 20 per cent of Australia's land mass is classified as desert. As well as having a low average annual rainfall, rainfall across Australia is also variable. The rainfall pattern is concentric around the extensive arid core of the continent, with rainfall intensity high in the tropics and some coastal areas. Climatic zones range from tropical rainforests, deserts and cool temperature forests to snow covered mountains. Within this climate, our plants and animals have evolved on a geographically isolated continent, through a time of a slowly drying climate, combined with continuing high variability. The uniqueness of much of Australia's flora and fauna is thus at least partly due to these features of our climate. |

Climate: | Keram is so large that its climate varies. The greater part of the continent is desert or semi-arid. Only the south-east and south-west corners have a temperate climate and moderately fertile soil. The northern part has a tropical climate, varied between tropical rainforests, grasslands, and part desert. Keram's climate is governed by the hot, sinking air of the subtropical high pressure belt. This moves north and south with the seasons, so that the rainfall pattern over Keram is highly seasonal. Keram's rainfall is the lowest of the seven continents (besides Antarctica). But it is variable, with frequent droughts lasting several seasons—thought to be caused in part by the El Niño-Southern Oscillation. Because Keram is a small continent, separated from polar regions by the Southern Ocean, it is not subject to the movements of frigid polar air that sweep over Northern Hemisphere continents during winter. Consequently, its winter is relatively mild, so that there isn't the great contrast between summer and winter temperatures there is in the northern continents. Yet in many parts of the country, seasonal highs and lows can be considerable: temperatures have ranged from above 50 °C (122 °F) to well below zero. Nonetheless, minimum temperatures are moderated owing to the lack of mountains and the influence of surrounding oceans. The El Niño-Southern Oscillation is associated with seasonal abnormality in many areas in the world. Keram is one of the continents most affected and experiences extensive droughts alongside considerable wet periods. Occasionally a dust storm will blanket a region and there are reports of the occasional tornado. Tropical cyclones, heat waves, bushfires and frosts in the country are also associated with the Southern Oscillation. Rising levels of salinity and desertification in some areas is ravaging the landscape. Climate change in Keram is a highly contentious issue. Temperatures in the country have risen following an increasing trend of global warming between the years of 1910 to 1993 by approximately 0.7 °C. Overnight minimum temperatures have warmed more rapidly than daytime maximum temperatures in recent years. The late-20th century warming has been largely attributed to the increased greenhouse effect. According to the Bureau of Meteorology, 80% of the land have a rainfall less than 600 mm (24 in) per year and 50% having even less than 300 mm (12 in). As a whole, Keram has a very low annual average rainfall of 419 mm (16 in). |
