The American Order

The American Order (AO) is a militarized stratocracy that emerged from the collapse of the United States in 1855. Founded by General William Sherman in St. Louis, it expanded through conquest and consolidation over nearly a century, culminating in the reformation of the continent under centralized martial governance. The AO rejects representative democracy and civilian governance, instead operating under the Supreme Stratocratic Council led by the Supreme Executor. There are no elections.

The AO considers itself the inheritor of the American legacy but reinterprets this through the lens of military supremacy, order through control, and total war doctrine. Civil liberties are suspended indefinitely. The economy is command-based and fully militarized, with all industries subordinated to state needs. Citizens are categorized and assigned roles through service mandates, enforced by local administrators. Dissent is criminalized.
