History: In 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" against Ukraine. The conflict ended in 2026, with Russia not winning as greatly as they'd hoped. After the Chinese invasion of Taiwan, the unification of Russia and Belarus, and the second Russian invasion of Ukraine in the mid-late 2030's, World War III broke out, leading to thermonuclear war and the beginning of the apocalypse, with the world going into nuclear winter for a long time. In the interconnected bunkers of Volgograd, there was an underground Socialist Revolution in the late 2090's, led by Comrade Alexei Vladimirovich Dzhugashvili, the self-proclaimed direct descendant of Joseph V. Stalin (1878-1953). In 2114 (CURRENT YEAR), the people of Volgograd emerged out of the bunkers and reached the Earth's surface, proclaiming a new Soviet Republic.
