History: | In 1810, revolts broke out in Spain’s American colonies, including the Viceroyalty of the Rio de La Plata. After six years, Argentina declared independence from Spain. What followed were a series of unrest and revolts in not only Argentina but also almost all of former Spanish colonies. Unrest continued well into the twentieth century, with multiple coups occurring. However finally, under a new president, the country is improving in all departments of the state. |
