| History: |
[1951] The modern Republic of Cubronia was founded after the signing of the nation’s Constitution. The country was founded as a very conservative, far-right constitutional republic.
[1952] The Conservative Party was founded.
[1952] Cubronia joined the United Nations.
[1957] Cubronia joined NATO to protect itself from Soviet invasion and modernized its armed forces.
[1968] Tensions between Cubronia and China escalated due to ideological differences and Cubronia’s hatred of Communism.
[1974] Cubronia’s secret “mini Cold War” with China began while being kept secret from the rest of NATO.
[1981] The economy became fully militarized due to the use of military spending to support the economy and strong national security with high levels of employment and prosperity.
[1985] The Liberal Party was founded.
[1992] The global Cold War ended a year prior and Cubronia got rid of every single one of the 20 nuclear weapons from the military’s arsenal.
[1997] The two nations of Cubronia and Angola begin an international relationship after troops from both countries trained together in the presence of their Secretary of Defenses.
[1999] The Cubronian public shamed the rest of NATO for their actions towards Yugoslavia. During the bombings, NATO killed many Yugoslavian civilians and destroyed the country’s infrastructure.
[2001] After the 9/11 attacks in the US, Cubronian President Olaf Karlsson temporarily locked down every airport in the country and started deportations of illegal immigrants from areas such as the Middle East and Eastern Asia.
[2008] The secret Cold War with China since 1974 became hot when Cubronian military advisors were ambushed by Chinese special forces in the Arctic. The attack became widely known and NATO gave Cubronia consequences for hiding a secret military operation.
[2009] The Cubronian-Chinese Arctic War began.
[2013] Angola received military aid from Cubronia due to a criminal leftist military uprising causing trouble in the capital city of Luanda and the surrounding Angolan territories. The Angolan Jungle Conflict began.
[2016] Retired Ground Force General and Conservative Party member Grim Varsson was elected as President of Cubronia. Varsson was the popular vote due to his strong, patriotic, masculine, leader-type personality. He stated that he will fix Cubronia’s damaged relations with NATO if possible.
[2020] Due to the COVID pandemic, President Varsson put Cubronia on an international lockdown until further notice, next, he militarized every airport and removed all foreign tourists from the country. Later in 2020, Cubronia’s relations with the US were very low due to the racial riots worldwide and the US election results. Cubronian police funding increased in case if citizens decide to protest for BLM in the streets of every city.
[2021] The Angolan Jungle Conflict came to an end after eight years. President Varsson finally succeeded in ending the war for good.
[2022] President Varsson requested for Cubronia to withdraw from NATO, stating that his country will not be among one of those held responsible for starting World War III by provoking Russia during their invasion of Ukraine. Other reasons of withdrawing from NATO included different political and social views, as well as the ability to have military freedom.
[2023] Cubronia’s request to leave NATO was approved. Later in 2023, President Varsson had every single one of his political rivals from the pro-NATO Liberal Party incarcerated and trialed in court for political crimes. The Liberal Party ceased to exist and the liberal members of the Senate were replaced with members of the Conservative Party after being jailed. President Varsson got rid of every aspect of a democracy from the Cubronian Government as well as banishing the election process, making him President for life.
[2025] President Varsson had all of his political rivals from the defunct Liberal Party publicly executed in the capital city of Krossholar’s military plaza after two years of legal court trials. Next, President Varsson made immigration illegal and restored law and order by wiping out all “sheeple” who have tried to destroy the Cubronian Republic. |

Cubronia has numerous glaciers, including both small valley glaciers and large outlet glaciers, covering a significant portion of the landscape.
The islands feature many mountains, some rising dramatically from sea level, particularly on the west coast of Spitsbergen.
The ground is permanently frozen (permafrost) except for a shallow active layer that thaws in the short summer, influencing vegetation distribution.
A considerable portion of the land is composed of barren rock, especially in areas not covered by ice or vegetation.
The remaining land is characterized by tundra vegetation, which is adapted to the harsh, cold environment.
The western and northern coastlines of Spitsbergen and Nordaust Land are heavily indented by fjords.
Due to the harsh climate and permafrost, vegetation is sparse, mostly limited to river valleys and low-lying areas.
In some areas, particularly on the east coast of Nordaust Land, there are extensive coastal plains formed by sea level changes. |

During winter, temperatures can drop to around 6 degrees during the day and even lower at night, making it essential to be well-prepared for the cold. The summer months, although short, offer a brief period of milder weather, with July being the warmest month where temperatures can reach up to 42 degrees. Precipitation in Cubronia is relatively low throughout the year, with slightly higher amounts during the late summer and early fall.
Given its location in the high Arctic, Cubronia experiences unique daylight patterns. Winter brings the polar night, when the sun doesn’t rise for several months, while in summer, the midnight sun provides 24 hours of daylight. These extreme conditions shape daily life in Cubronia, making it an exciting and challenging place for visitors to experience. |

The current Cubronian Armed Forces was founded in 1951 after the signing of the Constitution. The primary purpose of the Cubronian military is to defend the nation and its interests both domestically and internationally. This includes protecting the homeland, maintaining national security, projecting power, and supporting diplomacy and other national interests.
The Cubronian Armed Forces has three main branches and two side branches.

The Cubronian military service rifle is the Colt Model 604 M16, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. The weapon has been in service since 1967. The reason why the AR-15 platform was adopted by Cubronia’s military was because of reliability, accuracy, simplicity and light weight. Colt has a total of eight large firearms manufacturing facilities in Cubronia, which has been arming their military ever since.
The standard primary uniform camouflage pattern used by the Cubronian Armed Forces is “Arctic Blue Tigerstripe”. The secondary uniform camouflage pattern used by the military is “Flora Green Tigerstripe”. The third uniform camouflage used by the military is “Dirt Brown Tigerstripe”.
Cubronian military training typically lasts around one to two months for basic training, followed by three to six months of specialized training.
Discipline is very important in the Cubronian Armed Forces, the drill instructor is authorized to scream, curse and insult the recruit in the most serious way possible as a way to turn a civilian into a service member. |
