History: Formed after the catastrophic aftermath of WWIII, the Union of the North Atlantic was formed by splinters of the United States of America, United Kingdom, Mexico and Canada. It was founded primarily on the principles of the US Constitution, which is considered one of its two core legal documents; the other is a second Constitution created specifically for the UNA. It functions as an expansion of the US Constitution, and both documents are mutually reinforcing. This is the direct result of US sociopolitical and cultural collapse in the decades leading up to WWIII that eventually led to the collapse of that nation. Specifically, the UNA Constitution was created to address systemic deficiencies that the US Constitution suffered from. Though the combination of multiple nations' remnants, it primarily views itself as the successor to the United States.
