Lying on the western shores of the Great Inland Sea of North America, Bebiicie mostly consists of the majestic Montanas Rocosas, or Rocky Mountains.  The land was settled by the Arapahoe and Ute peoples, who still call it home.

The Spanish were the first Europeans to steal the land of Bebiicie, as they were attracted to the rich gold deposits.  After the Napoleonic wars, Spanish control of Bebiicie was ceded to France.  The French invaders built several settlements on the coast, and established extensive trading relations with the Arapahoe and Ute tribes, exchanging valuable gold and ores for European goods.  

 Bebiicie became an important trade hub, as it contained one of the only viable passes through the Montanas Rocosas.  Industrial goods from the young United States were shipped across the Inland Sea and were received at the bustling ports of Doree.  Goods were then transported via rail through the winding passes through Bebiicie, across the lonesome Sal Desert, and to Mexican California.  Produce from California traveled to the United States along the same route.

In the 1960s, tribal and urban Bebiicites formed a Grand Alliance and demanded independence from France, threatening to shut down the railroad if their demands were not met.  Mexico and the United States pressured France to grant their colony full autonomy, and in 1971, Bebiicie was finally independent.
