History: Used to be part of Belgium until Amalia Leeuwen decided she wanted the land for herself. She took it by force, using an army of mercenaries. She is a dictator, however, censorship is so strong that most people do not realise it and follow her. The government is very strict and keeps a close eye on its people. There is a secret police called the Kristells. Neighbours are highly encouraged to keep the government informed about the doings of their neighbours. There was an attempt at a revolution, however Amalia Leeuwen caught it early on and deemed everyone a part of it, medically insane. She then sent many of the leaders and participants to an asylum. Some of the leaders never came out, it is believed that their lives came to an end. Now, the situation is secure. Anyone who doesn’t seem satisfied with the government is usually sent to a mental hospital or given antidepressants.

Climate: Rainy, cloudy, a bit depressing. Occasionally has sun. Leeuwen has tried to combat the issue of seasonal depression by creating holiday cinemas, in which citizens put on a virtual headset and the heating is turned on. This has caused a higher level of happiness, however it may just be the drugs that they release through the air vents of these institutions, causing many to become addicted to these ‘virtual holidays’
