Overview

Once a socialist stronghold, The Stratocratic State of Nyikora rose from the ashes of a brutal civil war that shattered a once-unified nation. Originally part of a larger multi-state country, Nyikora became a battleground for warring factions, until it was unified under General Kaleb Omukama—the architect of the state’s military rule. Under his leadership, the former socialist regime was dismantled, and the country was transformed into a military-led state, where governance is dictated by the armed forces and national security takes precedence over all else.

The Nyikoran Military Command Council (NMCC), comprised of high-ranking officers, now dictates policy, law, and economic control. Civilian authority has been stripped away, and political opposition is non-existent. The state enforces strict martial law, with all industries, media, and institutions subservient to the will of the military elite. Propaganda portrays Nyikora’s transformation as a necessary evolution, ensuring stability in a volatile region, while dissenters are swiftly dealt with under charges of treason.

The country is divided into ten militarized sectors, each serving a specific role in maintaining the state’s war economy and internal control:

Major Sectors

Sector Lomfari – The Capital Command Center
The nerve center of Nyikora’s military state, home to government headquarters, military high command, and elite personnel. Surveillance is omnipresent, and access is tightly restricted. The privileged ruling class resides here, while the common people exist under strict control.

Sector Keduma – The Enforced Order Zone
A walled-off sector for criminals, political dissidents, and ideological opponents of the regime. This sprawling urban prison serves as a forced labor camp, where inhabitants are subjected to brutal conditions, constant monitoring, and indefinite detainment.

Sector Vasere – The Industrial War Engine
The economic powerhouse, consisting of factories, refineries, and resource extraction industries. Nyikora’s war machine is fueled by the relentless labor of its people, who work under oppressive conditions to maintain the country’s self-sufficiency and military production.

Sector Mogandu – The Fortress of Command
The heart of Nyikora’s armed forces. This heavily fortified region houses elite training academies, war planning centers, and stockpiles of advanced weaponry. Troops from Sector M4 are deployed to enforce order nationwide and suppress any signs of rebellion.

Sector Pakunda – Civilian Containment Zone(C.C.Z)
Built primarily for housing civilians and military personnel, this sector is tightly controlled, with minimal personal freedoms. Civilian life is structured around military service, and most industries serve the war effort in some capacity.

Sector Omolese – The War Foundry
A key industrial hub that houses military production facilities, ammunition plants, and research centers. Few civilians reside here, as it is tightly secured and governed directly by military officials.

Sector Fadeko – The Agricultural Supply Command
The primary food production region, supplying rations to both the armed forces and civilians. Farmland is militarized and collectivized, with production quotas enforced under threat of punishment.

Sector Dunjara – Civilian Containment Zone(C.C.Z)

Built primarily for housing civilians, it is a tightly controlled sector with most of the industries focusing on the militarization of Nyikora.

Undisclosed Military Sectors
Three additional classified regions, heavily restricted to all but high-ranking officials and elite forces. Their true purpose is unknown to the general population.

Legacy of the Revolution

The fall of socialism and the rise of the stratocracy were justified as necessary measures to ensure national survival. The government claims that only through absolute military order can Nyikora remain strong in a world filled with threats—both internal and external. Nationalist propaganda reinforces the idea that the military is the backbone of the nation, and civilians are expected to dedicate themselves to its cause.

Despite its iron grip, whispers of resistance linger in the shadows. The people of Nyikora remember the war that forged their nation, and while many have accepted military rule as their reality, others dream of a future free from the boot of the Stratocratic State.

The State’s Vision

The Stratocratic State of Nyikora stands as a testament to the unyielding power of order, strength, and discipline. Born from the ashes of civil war and the failure of weak civilian governance, the state’s vision is clear: a nation where stability is absolute, authority is unquestioned, and military supremacy ensures security and prosperity.

very small side note is that the look of the currency isn't complete, just a basic one for now..

I am not interested in your money. I just want to see your cities destroyed if I end up in a war.
