Independent Alaska was originally founded in 2036, when the United States of America or the U.S. made Catholicism illegal and restricted all mining access. Just like the states of Texas, North Dakota, and other western states, Alaska revolted. Brogan the first, who would become the first President of Independent Alaska, got together a group of men and women from ages ranging from 15 all the way to 60 to help fight against this impostroses law. The first battle was at Air Base JBER which was an extremely powerful military airbase and still is today. A total of 215,530 people, men and women, attacked JBER on November 1, 2037. The rebels won and JBER which would become the HQ of the rebellion for the rest of the war. The rebellious group never really had a name, but 27-year-old Lieutenant John B. thought of a name for the country, Malicon. When John proposed it to the broken-up government at the time, it was turned down. However, many of the soldiers on the field liked it because of its simplicity and unique sound. During the rebellion many new Alaskan gun companies were born. The most popular being Mal. Mal started by being a big handgun maker just 2 years after the war had started. They are most known for making the Mal 1.. The Mal 1 was made in 2040 and was the first official handgun made by Mal. By the time this gun had come out the war was nearly over and the rebellion had enough money to purchase uniforms. Along with the release of their new uniforms each officer was given a Mal 1 that they were required to use as a sidearm. Today, there are only 238 Mal 1s left and only military personnel are allowed to own them. The war ended on December 12, 2042, in Anchorage, Alaska, and the rebellious group was officially recognized by the U.N., NATO, and other alliances as Independent Alaska. Today the Aleutian chain and anything below Yakutat belongs to the U.S. The country is on their 5th President, President John B with Presidents Leo P, Thomas, Leo, and Brogan coming before him. John B will probably be reelected for Presidency after the end of his term in 2070.

The economy of Independent Alaska is pretty stable being a capitalist government with 58.3% of its funds used for cities, 19.9% for infrastructure, 17% for military, 3.89% for projects, and 0.972% for other uses. There is also an annual fund for Catholic schools that is sponsored by the government each year. The government gives around $20,000 to this event plus catering and other services.

The main industries of Independent Alaska are coal mining and private marketing. The coal mining industry however works where any coal that is mined in the cities of Charles town, Kaparik, and Deadhorse has to be turned to the local CTC or Coal Transfer Center and depending on how much coal is worth at that time that is how much money you get.

Independent Alaska has an army, air force, and navy. It does not plan to have a space force any time in the future due to its lack of supply to even have one mission to the ISS but has a very good special forces team. Its special forces team is known as the Winter Hellcats. With over 10,000 men and women involved in the special force program, its service is asked greatly by smaller countries such as the Czech Republic, Dubai, Singapore, and other Caribbean nations. The Winter Hellcats is a program that started in 2045 by General Thomas but mainly led by current President John. They are known for secret combat missions only using a Mal 3, the world’s most silent gun, and a knife. Though normal they use FN P90’s and as a secondary Mal 6’s.
Independent Alaska has only three branches in their military, army, navy, and air force. Their Coast Guard is not part of their military. Their army, led by Head General Gabe, is made up of 105,000 men and women and 2,500 tanks. 5,000 are in the Independent Alaska Secret Service Program or the SSP and 10,000 are a part of the Winter Hellcats. Their navy, led by Head Admiral Standal, is made up of 38 ships. 15 of which are used for the Coast Guard. Their air force, led by Head Commander Gurra, has 281 aircraft. 250 of which are jets, 11 which use propeller engines, and 20 of which are helicopters,
