Terrain: Glumbostan occupies a relatively flat coastal area. The Flumbonic Hill Range, north of Flumbonic Park, is home to the annual Flumboball tournament, a sport in which competitors enter a durable electrically-powered ball and attempt to be the last individual remaining to a long battle of ramming and inelastic collisions. The Great Glumbonic Glade is notable for its extremely high underground alkali hydroxide content; however, it is risky for one to harvest such valuable minerals, as the Glumbonic Gators pose an imminent threat and pure alkali metal impurities lead to high danger levels, especially underwater. Once Glumbostan is able to collect and process such goods, it is estimated that the economy will be significantly bolstered. The Glumbostan beaches are split into the Zlonkator Zhoreline, Quafeldum Qoast, and Glartanamos Bay. The Zlonkator Zhoreline is fully limited and absolutely exclusive to Zlonkators who are continuously pampered with amenities typically served by minimum-wage Blumbuses. The Quafeldum Qoast offers free entry to all Quafeldums, but lower social classes must pay a fee to enter in the form of either money or indentured servitude. From January to March, the nation enters Cryoglonk, the coldest season where temperatures typically drop down to lows of 25°F, and the Great Glumbonic Glade tends to freeze over. In such cases, Glumbonic Gators enter Cryohibernation, in which low temperatures allow their bodies to function with minimal resources. The next period lasts from April to mid June; this is known as Ploomtontime. Flumbonic Park receives ideal amounts of sunlight and rainfall, leading to the rapid growth of scintillating flower carpets. One land auditer remarked that, "Flumbonic Park in Ploomtontime is incomparable to anything I have ever seen. The bursts of colors are utterly surreal." The most dangerous season, lasting from mid June to late September, Tempestry, features strong hurricanes which are sometimes further exacerbated by unavoidable the brown ocean effect caused by great amounts of heat projected upon the Great Glumbonic Glades. Early October to mid November, Glumbostan experiences National Convalescence. This is a time for the community to recover in every aspect from the previous tropical storms. Temperatures stabilize with lows around 60°F and highs of 80°F, leading to an extremely comfortable and ideal time for leisure in Glumbostan. As part of the spirit building campaign, the Glumbostan government also organizes a public Flumboball tournament, an effective remedy. The final season of Glumbostan is National Preponderation, where a majority of the population will construct improvements and fill their stores with the necessary resources to prepare for the oncoming Cryoglonk.
