History: The Deportian Confederation is actually a union of four kingdoms (Port Orange, Jachymekburg, Wallville, and Comdae), and functions as an oligarchy with each of the four kings making up the government. Deportia is the capital city and is a city that does not belong to any of the four kingdoms to try and balance power between the four. The four kings rotate who the Head Deporter is every 5 years. This leader has strong powers but still grants autonomy to the other three kings. The Head Deporter can be removed by the other three kings if they all agree the Head Deporter is too corrupt. The Confederation formed as protection from stronger neighbours who wanted to attack the four kingdoms and destroy the Deportism religion.The Country is extremely authoritarian and strongly opposed people whom they consider “outsiders”. Despite this, there are several notable rebel groups in the Confederation. The Deportian Republican Coalition seeks to overthrow the government and establish a democratic nation (while keeping the four kingdoms united and turning them into provinces), the Organization for the centralization of Deportia seeks to abolish the oligarchy and instead turn the title of head deporter into the king of Deportia who would rule all four kingdoms as an absolute monarch. These two notable groups along with secessionist movements in each of the kingdoms give the Confederation plenty of domestic problems. Only time will tell if Deportia will prosper under the guidance of its kings, or will fracture under the pressure of rebels
