History: Grenri, as it currently exists, was founded in 2099 the wake of an event known as the Separation. It was once part of a much larger country, also called Grenri, until one day the area that now comprises the nation was seemingly transported to an entirely different, and much more hostile, world. All attempts to contact the central government failed, as did all communications sent to their previous allies. Thus, Grenri was founded anew.

It is unknown how or why the Separation occurred. Theories range from a trans-dimensional rift to an act of some malevolent deity.
