History: Forming from the shattered remnants of a once great empire, the first emperor of the Shang Dynasty going by the name of Voy Shang led his people though times of great destruction and civil war. Those who remained on all sides were broken by the bloody and soul-crushing civil war that rose from the now defunct empire. After nearly a decade of civil war, the group led by Voy Shang has won with heavy losses on all sides and extensive damage to the country’s economy. Voy Shang was far from a economic mastermind but, with the assistance of his noble council of 6 prominent families, he bought the turbulent country under a stable regime with bloody reprisals and military might. Voy Shang’s legacy extended until he dies at the age of 76 by a lifelong condition.

Rising from his uncles shadow, Nero Shang rose to the throne of Shang with a ferocity reminiscent of Voy Shang. The passing of Voy Shang had opened the path for successionist movement to throw the country into civil war once more and the military, still commentating the passing of the late Emperor, were badly containing them. With the succession of Nero Shang to the throne, he would have led the military with ability extremely unlikely for someone of a artistic noble family. Though much of the history of the succession wars has been restricted form being taught in schools due to the brutality of the conflict, the movements and populations that supported the rebels were next to extinct by the end.
