Geography
Continent: Asia
Land Area: 9,656.04 sq. km
Terrain: The Holy Land, spanning across Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, boasts a diverse terrain shaped by geological processes and human activity. From coastal plains to mountain ranges and arid deserts, the region's topography influences its climate, biodiversity, and socio-economic dynamics. The Mediterranean Sea borders the western coast, providing fertile plains and bustling port cities. Inland, the terrain becomes more rugged, with the Jordan Rift Valley dissecting the landscape and the Dead Sea marking the Earth's lowest point. The Judean Desert dominates the eastern part, characterized by arid expanses and rocky outcrops. Human settlement and agriculture have transformed the terrain over millennia, with ancient cities, terraced hillsides, and agricultural oases dotting the landscape. Despite challenges such as soil erosion and desertification, efforts to conserve and sustainably manage the Holy Land's terrain are underway, ensuring the preservation of its ecological and cultural heritage for future generations.

Highest Peak: Qurnat as Sawda, 3,008 meters
Lowest Valley: , 0 meters
Climate: The majority of the Holy Land enjoys a Mediterranean climate characterized by hot, dry summers and mild, wet winters. From Tel Aviv to Beirut, this climate prevails, offering pleasant conditions for agriculture and human habitation. Summers are typically long and rainless, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C (86°F), while winters bring cooler temperatures and the majority of the region's rainfall. Rainfall patterns vary across the Holy Land, influenced by topography and proximity to the Mediterranean Sea. Coastal areas receive more precipitation than inland regions, with an average annual rainfall ranging from 500 to 800 millimeters. In contrast, the Jordan Valley and Judean Desert experience arid conditions, receiving less than 200 millimeters of rain per year. The variability in rainfall poses challenges for agriculture and water management in the region. The transition between seasons in the Holy Land is marked by distinct changes in temperature and precipitation. Spring, from March to May, brings mild temperatures and blooming wildflowers, making it an ideal time for tourism. Summer, from June to August, is characterized by scorching heat, with temperatures often surpassing 35°C (95°F). Autumn, from September to November, sees a gradual decrease in temperatures and occasional rainfall. Winter, from December to February, brings cooler temperatures and the bulk of the region's precipitation, vital for replenishing water sources and supporting agricultural activities.
