CROWNTECH HAVEN was founded in 1780 as a rebellion against the Russian Empire, which had long oppressed the indigenous peoples of Siberia and Alaska, especially due to the dissatisfaction with the policies of Queen Catherine II.
The spread of diseases from Europe further decimated the population in Alaska, making it even harder for the locals to bear the rule of the Russian Empire. This dissatisfaction led to a rebellion in Alaska, where the local population, along with the Yakut people from Siberia, began to resist the Russian Empire's presence.
The Yakut, Chukchi, and Tlingit people began to form a group to attack Russian imperial outposts. Though their plan seemed insane, they managed to come up with strategies to break free from the Empire. They relied on the environment for tactical advantage and stole weapons from the Russian military, slowly terrorizing Russian guard posts.
The Russian Empire launched a significant military operation, but it took longer than expected to stop the rebellion. Then, Dmitri Ivanov, a former army general, and a group of soldiers secretly supporting the indigenous resistance among the various tribes, provided them with military supplies and resources to help in the fight. Their support was driven by their dissatisfaction with the Empire’s rule.
This led to the Siberian Revolution from 1769 to 1780, where the rebels attacked Russian military posts across Siberia. The Russian Empire responded with a large force from Europe, diverting resources and troops away from Alaska. At the same time, Russia was engaged in conflicts with Sweden and the Ottoman Empire in the Balkans and Nordics.
This diversion allowed the Alaskan tribes to organize a resistance against the Russian Empire, killing around 12,000 Russian soldiers with the help of weapons supplied from Siberia. By 1780, the Russian Empire was forced to retreat from both Eastern Siberia and Alaska. Queen Catherine II sent a letter offering a deal: if the rebels wanted to break free from the Empire, they had to remain in an alliance with Russia, where all resources would still be under imperial control. If they refused, Russia would send a massive military force from Europe.
Dmitri Ivanov, now the leader of the Eastern Siberian and Alaskan resistance, agreed to the terms of the treaty, marking the establishment of CROWNTECH HAVEN as a free nation, though it remained under the nominal control of the Russian Empire
During the Crimean War, the excessive exploitation of resources by the Russian Empire further fueled the dissatisfaction within CROWNTECH HAVEN. The people, already under strain, began to realize that the promises made in the previous treaty were hollow. Their land was being drained to support wars far away, while their own needs were being neglected.
In response to this growing frustration, CROWNTECH HAVEN secretly reached out to the British Empire, specifically through British Canada, requesting support to fully break away from Russian control. The British, eager to weaken Russian influence in the region, agreed and began supplying CROWNTECH HAVEN with resources, weapons, and military advisors.
Between 1854 and 1856, during the height of the Crimean War, this support helped stabilize CH’s internal resistance. By the end of the war in 1856, the Russian Empire was desperate to restore its depleted resources and turned its attention back to its frontier territories, including CROWNTECH HAVEN.
However, by that time, the spirit of rebellion had reignited. Between 1861 and 1863, while CROWNTECH HAVEN was still nominally under Russian control, insurgents launched a bold attack by burning down several critical administrative and military buildings along the border regions. This was not just an act of defiance—it was the opening strike of what would become the Second Revolutionary War.
The Russian Empire, caught off guard by the sudden and coordinated uprising, immediately began mobilizing its full military strength, determined to crush the rebellion. However, CROWNTECH HAVEN was prepared. With British aid and support from local militias, they launched a series of guerrilla campaigns and full-scale offensives throughout Eastern Siberia and Alaska.
In the final and most symbolic moment of the war, Dmitri Ivanov now much older and revered as the Father of the Revolution stood before the people in Phoenix Falls. There, he tore apart the treaty once signed with Queen Catherine II publicly rejecting the imperial authority once and for all.
This act marked the end of the Second Revolutionary War and the full independence of CROWNTECH HAVEN from the Russian Empire
The victory became a defining moment in the nation's history, celebrated annually as Golden Crow Day, symbolizing rebirth resilience and total sovereignty.
