History: In the late 600’s, Shi’a Muslims from the split Islamic world trying to avoid prosecution fled out of the Mediterranean and lost themselves in the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean. After suffering 3 years, 3 months, and 3 days on their ships, they found themselves at the shores of present day Miami, Florida. The surviving 358 members of the fleet built a town in the area that they landed on, creating a caliphate with a successor of Muhammad that came with them, named Mohammed Al-Abn. Fast forward to today, we are led by Harold Hilton, a direct descendant of Mohammed Al-Abn and therefore a descendent of Muhammed.
