The West African People's Republic, led by Chairman Eric Totalsten, is one of the pioneers of West Aftrican Marxist-Leninism and national syndicalism. It came to be shortly after The Governorate of Cameroon's first elections, shorty after its independence. The country could be considered as communist by most people's standards, yet free elections are still held. On August 21st 2096, Cameroon annexed the Canary Islands. Later that year, the nation of La Plata ceded much of its West African colonies, allowing for the formation of the WAPR.
