I'm really sorry, but I quit this game long ago, quite abruptly, and deleted all my progress. I only regret it partially, but it was necessary and I will not be returning. To be genuine with you, it kills my heart to put myself through looking at this place again, but I just wanted to make all the work I did on my nation public again, to hope it will be appreciated more than it did back then. I miss being important and being in gov positions, even leading my own alliance once, but I'm afraid to come back.  Everything I think tells me not to come back and I don't want to, because I hate everything that I ever did here so much.

Overview

-

Sazuyukama, located in Shikoku island was formerly a state inside the Empire of Japan until Allied Occupation ended. After Allied Occupation in Japan ended, Sazuyukama was granted additional autonomy as its own region until it was formally granted its independence following multiple petitions. Sazuyukama's independence was achieved on October 3rd, 1952.

Sazuyukama's first constitution was written on January 8th, 1953 but was revoked later on, where the second constitution took its place on March 4th, 1953. The second constitution was a success, however due to changing political landscape and nationwide protests over lack of civil rights and political freedoms in the constitution it was dropped on July 8th, 1957. The third constitution commonly referred to as the "Mayday Constitution" was adopted on May 1st, 1959. Originally, the third constitution was going to be an entirely different final draft, however after this draft was released for viewing to the public, protests and even a few violent riots took place as the draft barely satisfied any of the previous demands made by those who protested against the second constitution. The Mayday Constitution officially outlined the nation's adoption of a fully Democratic system, expanded massively on political rights, and abandoned almost every previous restriction on political parties.

Sazuyukama was briefly at war with the nation of Japan from May 2nd 1953 to May 5th 1953 known as the "Three Day Blitz", in which at the time Sazuyukama's 266 soldiers and single destroyer launched an offensive on small Japanese islands surrounding Shikoku island. Sazuyukama faced backlash from many nations, however they cited that if Japan continued to question Sazuyukama's independence then the nation would be constantly threatened. In the three days that the war continued Sazuyukama's ground forces and single destroyer managed to seize 13 islands that surrounded Shikoku, only injuring one Japanese soldier named Fuyoko Tashimata in the process. Japan and Sazuyukama reached a peace agreement that only outlined Japan's complete and official recognition of Sazuyukama as a legitimate and sovereign state.

Sazuyukama involved itself indirectly in the Korean War from May 18th 1953 until the end of the war. Sazuyukama established 2 humanitarian units of ~200 people each, these humanitarian units operated all across the frontline and all affected cities, not to mention the 400 volunteers gathered and sent as medical aids to the frontline. Sazuyukama, even after requested to, refused to send weaponry or armed soldiers. Sazuyukama in response to backlash to contribute to frontline combat made a brief statement, "Sazuyukama as a nation has made a commitment to peace ever since we managed to receive recognition from the nation of Japan, and with our newly found environment of safety we are unwilling to fight and will continue humanitarian efforts and aid in Korea."

Status of the Democracy

-

The health of the Democratic system in Sazuyukama has been particularly poor in recent times. It is commonly understood that the health of the Democracy is still deteriorating quickly, causing immense concern among some parts of the government in recent years.

The Constitutionalist Party, Tokomajan, which runs itself as a government entity largely based off the constitution of the nation. Tokomajan is the third most popular party in the nation, however, multiple millionaires in the nation endlessly supply Tokomajan's political candidates with private campaign donations. Tokomajan continues to rely on corporations privately donating to their campaigns to stay in power, and it's largely worrying many inside the nation about whether or not the Democracy is even still around. Current President Yamane Michio has been referred to as the 'lap dog' of the Shujino Mining Company, who funded his campaign with 33 billion Yen. It's largely rumored that members of Parliament from other parties, primarily Liberty Front and Labor Collective are being bribed by companies in order to sway votes in the parliament.

Recently, the Parliament (with large amounts of suspicion of mass bribery) passed a policy that expanded on corporate control over their workers. This policy almost immediately caused the considered minimum wage to drop to around 1640 Yen per hour. It allowed corporations to dissolve worker unions and fire workers who attempted to organize into unions. The policy also allowed for corporations to extend work hours up to a maximum of 90 hours a week. This policy has caused immense outrage among the population of the country, however workers who have been arrested for rioting or have been identified while participating in riots or protests have seen major backlash by corporations, leading many to be fired. The policy had passed with 327 in favor, 186 against, and 2 abstained.

Due to the policy passed that increased corporate control over workers, many workers have resorted to illegal organization of unions and even reaching out to actual criminal groups who sympathize with the common people or just paying them for help. This policy was suspected to have largely been bribed into passing through the Parliament by the Shujino Mining Company, who have recently created micro-businesses based upon Union busting, effectively creating an entirely new market to profit off busting Unions and all groups that attempt to organize workers in corporations. The Shujino Mining Company has created it's own private Union busting teams, which recently were put into action. Workers in Shujino's largest coal mine had an organized and established Union that was seeing immense pressure after the policy passed, resulting in 166 miners organizing into a strike and barricading themselves into the mine. Shujino's largest union busting team (of unknown size, suspected to be around ~60 people) established a perimeter around the mine, the team was armed with riot equipment. The team eventually at 8:40 AM began a raid on the mine, breaking down the barricades at the entrance and charging inside, beginning a clash between the team and the striking workers. This clash resulted in 13 miners dying of sustained injuries, 49 others injured, and the 62 remaining giving up. All of the workers still alive were fired from their jobs, 22 of which even got arrested for seemingly random reasons such as 'damage to private property' or 'attempted murder'. This had largely pushed for many former Unions to begin illegal operations and in organizing with criminal organizations for help. The Shujino Mining Company released a statement that was covered by state-affiliated media, saying that ". . .the miners organized in the strike were violating company policies and harming the productivity of the company. Those who died in this incident had attacked our team who were there to negotiate with the workers. This is truly a tragic incident, one that truly shows that Unions only organize the workers to resort to violence to achieve their goals. . ."

With the decline of the Democratic system in Sazuyukama seemingly getting faster and faster, tensions having been consistently rising between corporations and their workers. The gap between rich income and poor income has expanded nearly ten-fold due to massive cuts in the minimum wage. It's suspected that even some of the existing lowest quality housing may be too expensive for almost 4% of the population. Workers have been resorting to cooperation with illegal organizations and even the Yakuza for support, there has been a rise in criminal neighborhoods, even riots have been increasing in major cities causing thousands of dollars in damage as police continue to clash with rioters. Despite what many public organizations and political parties believed, the state-affiliated media continues to show immense support for corporations, even going as far as to support cover up stories such as the statement by the Shujino Mining Company which had described a raid where a team of Union busters engaged miners as an entirely different scenario where the miners assaulted the Union busters who were attempting to negotiate. Multiple prestigious workers rights movements have officially disbanded due to the fact that independent news is still heavily regulated.

Economy

-

Sazuyukama initially began mass-industrialization in the late 1950's and early 1960's. Large mining and fishing corporations were the first big businesses in the nation, however in more modern times the nation has adopted a manufacturing industry, especially for electronics and appliances. The government of Sazuyukama at one point purchased a majority of small businesses in the nation and sold them to large corporations with the single purpose of expanding large profitable businesses. It is widely known that politicians, especially recent presidents have collaborated with corporations in private donations or complete funding of political campaigns, this becomes even more relevant due to the fact that politicians keep on appeasing big corporate interests. Politicians often make promises to expand big corporations to increase profit and improve the economy, only reinforcing the recurrence of appeasement for support between corporations and politicians.

Military

-

The military of Sazuyukama has only recently expanded massively in the past years as threats from neighboring countries such as North Korea and China continue to grow. Sazuyukama's military has only fought one war, that being the Three Day Blitz which helped Sazuyukama gain Japan's recognition as a sovereign country. Sazuyukama's military has however involved itself in humanitarian and first aid efforts in both the Korean War, Vietnam War, and in multiple African conflicts. Despite being similar to Japan regarding more pacifist beliefs, Sazuyukama has maintained a military except for a brief period in 1959 when the third constitution snuck past a piece of legislation that abolished all branches of military, which was removed three days after it was discovered.

Sazuyukama has 567 active military personnel, primarily stationed at army garrisons and training grounds across the island. Sazuyukama has a reserve force of 3,211 that are consistently on standby for a call to arms. Sazuyukama requires that once an individual turns 17 they must either do 2 years of military service or three years of community service, meaning that if needed extensive conscription could call in large numbers of the population without needing excessive training.

For general purpose weaponry Sazuyukama will operate a variety of rifles, shotguns, and other weaponry for frontline combat and support. Sazuyukama operates a HAA83g assault rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, a HAA47c carbine chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, and occasionally makes use of their first rifle, the old HAA21b 7.62x51mm NATO battle rifle developed in 1961 by the Haijin Arms Agency. For personal defense weapons Sazuyukama operates a copy of the Belgian FN P90 chambered in 5.7x28mm, although this is mostly being used by police forces after a government campaign to arm police with less militaristic weapons after multiple drops in crime rates.

For general ordinance Sazuyukama operates 32 152mm HAA107b howitzers, 61 122mm HAA208a howitzers, 103 82mm HAA17a mortars, 107 120mm HAA64b mortars, and 11 self-propelled 240mm TVW80-b3 mortars. In terms of anti-tank weaponry Sazuyukama operates 83 100mm HAA162e anti-tank guns, 11 144mm AOT2-03b anti-tank guns, and 119 infantry kit HAA17a rocket propelled grenades. For anti-air purposes Sazuyukama operates 14 all-weather low to medium altitude short range AOT1-07a surface-to-air missile systems using the YA-Q110 missile and 4 experimental all-weather low to high altitude long range AOT4-01a surface-to-air missile systems using the YA-Q180 missile. Sazuyukama additionally stockpiles 44 120mm AOT1-10a flak guns at the ordinance warehouse near Kochi.

For general purpose logistics Sazuyukama operates multiple varieties of trucks and aircraft. The primary vehicle used in transporting supplies, resources, and goods throughout Sazuyukama are 183 TVW81-c7 5-ton all-weather all-terrain cargo trucks, alternatively Sazuyukama uses a stockpile of 203 TVW66-g3 15-ton all-weather all-terrain cargo trucks.

For infantry and general-purpose troop transportation, Sazuyukama most often operates 102 TVW02-b4 medium-weight class armored troop transport vehicles resembling that of the Humvee.

Chronicle of the Sazuyukama Civil War

(The first of the below sections “The Crumbling Democracy, etc…” will repeat a lot of the above content. This is because I used this as a separate piece to introduce people to the story a while ago, however it still does add some new content.)

The Crumbling Democracy, The Weakening Nation, The Suffering People

-

The nation of Sazuyukama, located in Shikoku island, has continued to suffer immense decline in the liberties and health of the people. Alongside the crumbling Democracy which no longer functions without the influence of some major organization or business within the nation. The nation is truly in danger of complete corporate control over all forms of politics or the beginning of a revolution and a brutal civil war. Established as a Democracy with a unicameral legislature in the form of a parliament, the nation must witness the decline of its Democratic ways.

The Parliament continues to pass reforms that many seat-holders wouldn't support, of course however, endless bribery on behalf of the corporations of the nation continue to lead towards abusive attacks on the rights of the nation's workers. Sazuyukama has had a deep-rooted connection to its industry, shortly after gaining independence in 1952 began programs of mass-industrialization. The first huge businesses in the nation were of mining or fishing backgrounds however leading up to the 2000's the nation continued to sway towards a more manufacturing based industry, featuring electronics and arms companies as big businesses. Sazuyukama just after the appearance of big businesses went as far as to buy out multiple smaller companies and sell them to bigger companies who operated under the same purpose. The biggest business, the Shujino Mining Company, came to be as big as it is due to it being sold multiple smaller mining companies, allowing it to profit off some of the largest and most productive mines in the entire island. The cooperation between the government and corporations was started incredibly early on in the nation, however it never entirely grew to the extent it sits at now due to largely Soviet influence in politics and major workers rights movements that only truly died down in 1991 after the dissolution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Sazuyukama has had three constitutions total.  Sazuyukama's first constitution was written on January 8th, 1953 but was revoked later on, where the second constitution took its place on March 4th, 1953 due to the first constitution lacking in many areas as it was made as a temporary placeholder for a more formal constitution. Sazuyukama's third constitution is one of the leading factors of the struggle between corporate dominance and workers survival, in the section dedicated to outlining the functions and process of the nation's Democratic elections it states that corporations are subject to no government enforced limit on campaign donations or contributions.

Corporations only began making incredibly large campaign donations and contributions in the early 2000's, beginning what would become a corrupt partnership between every big business in the nation and all the politicians who wanted to keep themselves prominent. Politicians began to publicly endorse companies at first, but not so long after they began making promises of benefits to businesses or perhaps even reforms or extended relief to businesses, anything that would entice the biggest corporations to support them. This was one of the few things that began chipping away at the Democratic system of Sazuyukama, but definitely not the worst. President Kano Nobuo who held the position from 2005-2008 was often regarded as a slave to the corporate agenda, at the time there was already relative unrest about the status of workers especially regarding workplace safety and already existing cuts on limits for work hours or minimum wage. Kano Nobuo was almost voted out of office twice in 2006 and 2007, however despite the immense popularity for these votes it almost seemed as if the parliament was mysteriously shifted to keep him in office despite even the parliament disliking his terror campaign against the workers of the nation. Most politicians who were previously popular who made public statements against the harmful cooperation of politicians and businesses were unable to continue their careers due to being replaced by newer pro-corporate politicians whose campaigns flooded the nation by storm. The Shujino Mining Company, recognized as the largest business in the nation has managed to keep itself in theoretical control of the government, even managing to get one of their own supported fanatic pro-corporate candidates Yamane Michio to win the presidency in 2009. President Yamane Michio has been publicly regarded as the 'lap-dog' of the Shujino Mining Company, ridiculed and cursed by the public for his "treason" against the people of the nation.

President Yamane Michio was the one who introduced the 'corporate relief act' which was passed by the 515 seat parliament of Sazuyukama with 327 in favor, 186 against, and 2 abstained. The act completely expanded the control corporations had over their workers. The policy completely changed the national minimum wage to around 1640 Yen per hour, essentially nothing. Along with the minimum wage drop the policy also extended maximum work hours to 90 hours a week, a death sentence to most. The policy now allowed corporations to dissolve worker unions and fire workers who attempted to organize into unions. Many had believed that after the changes already made to work hours and minimum wage by former president Kano Nobuo that they would be relatively safe from further change, which they were right to believe. This policy was an abrupt and immense change, as the country, including many of its still prominent politicians, were in favor of keeping workers unions. Public demonstrations almost immediately formed, the largest taking place in the capital city of Kochi, where many have already been arrested for rioting. It's also been reported by underground forms of public news that corporations have been firing all workers identified as partaking in protests or riots. While many of the protests were indeed peaceful and lawful, state-affiliated media continued to cover almost every protest as violent outbursts that were destroying public infrastructure on a massive scale, which was obviously false. Police in cities like Kochi however treated protesters and rioters indifferently, essentially attacking and taking into custody anybody even if they were being as peaceful and compliant as possible. The Kochi riots were one of the breaking points for many and they only broke more when martial law and curfews were introduced in the city and other cities experiencing large protests and riots.

One of the second breaking points for many was the incident as the largest mine of the Shujino Mining Company. For context, the Shujino Mining Company expanded itself by creating smaller micro-businesses based upon union busting now that such was legalized. This gave the Shujino Mining Company an entirely new market where it profited off other businesses buying the services of professional teams of union busters. It also allowed the Shujino Mining Company to establish it's own elite team of union busters, who recently saw activity at Shujino's largest coal mine. The mine had 166 organized and coordinated miners, all prominent members of an established workers union, barricade themselves and begin a strike inside the mine. The elite union busting team arrived at around 5:10 AM and established a perimeter around the mine, almost immediately beginning a brief 7 minute attempt at negotiation with the workers to no avail. The union busting team of around 60 members, equipped with riot gear and batons began a raid on the mine at around 8:40 AM, breaking down the barricades at the entrance to the mine and charging inside. The resulting clash between the miners and the union busters resulted in 13 miners dying of sustained injuries, 49 others being injured, and the 62 remaining giving up. All of the workers still alive were fired almost immediately by the Shujino Mining Company, those injured fired without receiving any form of compensation for their injuries. Some of the workers who participated in the strike were also arrested shortly after, about 22 of them, arrested for seemingly random crimes ranging from "damage of private property" to "attempted murder". The Shujino Mining Company released a statement to state-affiliated media, stating that, ". . .the miners organized in the strike were violating company policies and harming the productivity of the company. Those who died in this incident had attacked our team who were there to negotiate with the workers. This is truly a tragic incident, one that truly shows that unions only organize the workers to resort to violence to achieve their goals. . .". Of course, this clearly altered statement about what had happened at the mine only furthered public outrage about this incident and all recently unfolding events in the country.

With the foundations for further political turmoil and expanding corporate control over the government and nation as a whole, the grounds for a potential civil war may be forming. There are the suppressed politicians who are not in favor of the corporate influence and such over the government, the oppressed workers and innocent people are lay victim to corrupt politicians, there are gathering Anarchists believing that the current situation is evidence of the failures of governments and corporations alike, the corporations themselves who are so close to seizing their own business heaven, and there is the military who are continuing to grow weary of the corrupt government. Whether Sazuyukama can brave the great typhoon approaching and seal the cracks in the Democracy or fall into chaos and terror is uncertain.

Collapse of law and order, bloodshed across the nation, the government is powerless?

The state-affiliated news channel named Sazuyukama National News Agency was established in 1973 and has continued to be the primary and most popular news channel in the nation. The news channel has a morning section that begins at 7:00 AM. Today is October 21st, 2011 at 9:53 AM. The news channel is late to begin based on its regular schedule, almost three hours late in fact. At 9:55 AM, finally, the channel begins airing.

A lovely lady named Okuda Reiko, the regular news anchor for the SNNA shows up on the screen. She appears to be in her mid-thirties wearing a white dress with faint pink flowers on it begins reading out a paper, not even bothering to look up at the camera, although that barely hides the worried look she is burdened with.

"It has unfortunately been put upon me to inform the general public about several developments within the nation. . ." She shuffles around in her seat and takes a deep breath, ". . .today at 5:47 AM local police reported that likely tens of thousands of protesters began to flood the streets of Matsuyama, reporting that they were armed with rifles and handguns, although their weapons all appeared severely out of date. The hordes of people flooding the streets waved many different flags. Some flags bearing the hammer and sickle, some the face of Stalin or Marx, some waved Anarchist flags with "Freedom" plastered on them. The protesters in Matsuyama overran and looted many police stations and according to some eyewitness accounts have begun to burn down government buildings in the city. Current reports count at least eighty dead in the violence taking place between this broad Leftist rebellion and the outnumbered police in Matsuyama. The government ordered the local army garrison and local army reserves into action to restore order in Matsuyama, the army garrison has yet to respond and less than a quarter of the reserves called have shown up for service. In Kanonji hundreds of members from the Imperial Standard party gathered and have already overrun and destroyed local police forces resulting in what's likely to be many deaths. These people even going as far as to raise the flag of the Empire of Japan over the city center, the government contacted the local army garrison around Kanonji who refused orders, as well as the local army reserves of which less than half showed up for service. In Yawatahama what can only be guessed to be the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa criminal groups taking control of the city with hundreds of armed individuals, going as far to detonate explosives and destroy the local trading harbor there. A repeat of events, the local army garrison failed to respond to orders and none of the reserves called to duty showed up for service. Reports from those who have remained loyal from the army, which to be truthful with you, is very few, indicate that all army garrisons have been abandoned and that all of the armies have begun moving in the direction of Kochi city. What brings even more fear is that after being searched, almost every military warehouse or storage facility has been looted by the army. Speaking of Kochi. . ." She pauses, her face growing ever more pale with each word she has read. She lays the paper down on the table and looks directly down at it and tapping her fingers. "Local police forces in Kochi have managed to secure a perimeter around the three primary government buildings here, securing the members of government from the onslaught of rioters who are currently flooding through the city. Gunshots can be heard all around the city and smoke has been rising from multiple buildings for almost an hour now. The government suspects that the exceptionally close timing of all these events must be due to planning by rebellious groups, although that assumption is clearly too late to change anything, once again showing you the weakness of our own government. To reveal to you the decay in ability that our own government has, I regret to inform you that almost the entire government has resigned due to the unraveling chaos overwhelming the country. It's reported that many CEOs and famous businessmen have fled to Takamatsu where they've secured themselves with their scumbag union busting teams and private security, only begging the question of if they're another rebellion now that the government is essentially dead. The degeneracy of the politicians in this country and the lack of decency amongst the elite has finally brought down this kind of chaos upon the entire nation. The ignorance of the politicians of how little control they actually had astonishes me, I mean truly, what did they expect to happen? This silly little cooperation between those scumbag elitists and these all talk politicians has gone on for nearly, what? 15 years perhaps? Apparently all you need to blind somebody from the imminent collapse of everything around them is a private donation. My job is now meaningless, to be brutally honest, without the consistent pressure of this stupid government making sure I say only positive things about them and only the things that fit their interest, this is a civil war. Preside-" She pauses. "Former. Former President Yamane Michio and his cabinet are the last of them needed. The last of the corporate lap dog pests needed to bring our country to the breaking point. All the former unity of our secured sovereignty and prospering nation is now gone. The only advice I have is, lock your doors and stay home. That is, if you want to have any chance of surviving what we are about to endure."

And just like that, the broadcast ended. Those outside of the areas already being affected by the first day of anarchy thought it was a joke at first. This is no joke. In Kochi the police are barely holding their perimeter around the three government buildings, constantly in a gunfight against the endless hordes of rioters. Gunfire and fighting between those of many different allegiances drowns out the former beauty of the city. Many buildings in Kochi now burn and pour columns of smoke into the sky. In Matsuyama the police and the few army reserves that showed up for service are fighting desperately to contain the broad Leftist coalition that is tearing the city apart and already bringing over a hundred deaths on the first day of the chaos spreading across the island. In Kanonji the Imperial Standard Party made up of those who believe in a modern restoration of the Emperor Showa have already established their first grounds for the conflicts to come and have raised the flag of the former Empire of Japan over the center of the city. In Yawatahama the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa criminal organizations have gathered and taken control of the city with hundreds of armed individuals, even destroying the local harbor with explosives, causing a large column of smoke to drown out a lot of the sunlight that shines over the city. And even in Takamatsu the CEOs and important businessmen of the nation have gathered and secured themselves a fortress with their "private armies' ', taking refuge there due to the relatively few rioters in and around the city compared to everywhere else. The situation in the nation has only worsened due to the army refusing all orders from the government and General Koga Takeo ordering the entire army to loot and collect all army assets and move towards Kochi city.

Sazuyukama has collapsed. Please remain calm.

God save Sazuyukama, because nobody else can.

The Last Banzai, Implications of Chaos in Kochi, Possible Japanese Intervention?

On October 21st the civil war began, on that day the Imperial Standard Party, believers in the restoration of the Emperor Showa, took control of a small portion of the city Kanonji. The Imperial Standard Party faced little opposition in taking their portion of the city, however large revolting hordes of socialists and democrats surrounded them, limiting their expansion entirely. Eventually, military forces who were too far away to move towards Kochi began to move into Kanonji and engage every other faction in the city and around it.

Today is November 12th, military forces numbering upwards of three hundred eventually surrounded and encircled the warriors of the Imperial Standard Party along the coastline of the city in a small harbor. The Imperial Standard Party, now reduced to hiding in trenches and makeshift bunkers, were enduring what they knew would be the last assault they could take. Reduced down to just forty men, armed with rifles and submachine guns from the world wars, they took down the flag of the Empire of Japan that hung over their position. The flag riddled with bullet holes and burnt at a few of its corners was stuck onto a long pole, the soldiers taking position at the edge of their trenches. The military men, still actively moving towards the trenches of these Imperial soldiers without caution all but expected the forty remaining men or so to charge out of their trenches, screaming, a few of them even armed with an everyday object like a knife or a baseball bat.

However, the ghost of Imperial Japan hung over these home islands one last time.

"Tennōheika Banzai!"

The city of Kanonji, once beautiful and thriving, now reduced to rubble and columns of smoke, only returned to the former noise of busy men when forty made their final efforts. In their glorious act, of what they considered to be their final honor, they charged with outdated guns, knives and bats, and their last officer with a ceremonial Katana. What is obvious, is that this is likely the last Banzai in history. And in the last Banzai, these forty men only killed two, none even getting close enough to use their melee weapons. All forty men were wiped out quickly by the modern weaponry of these army men, leaving an entire army just over the size of a company in a barren city. The Imperial Standard Party at its largest during the civil war was just one-hundred seventy-one men, and now the final forty have been wiped out. The city burns, the evidence of what a modern war shall bring.

Kochi is the one place where all factions but one engage each other. The military, Democratic Restorationists, Leftists, Corporatists, and what remains of the Kochi police all continue in a brutal struggle. Kochi city has been torn apart, greenery has been burnt away and the city is a field of gray. The government building's perimeter collapsed and now the central operating point of the former government is burning, sending an imposingly large column of smoke into the sky, one that essentially darkens the city when it piles up with all the other smoke columns. The Kochi police stations burn, schools burn, the port and all of the fuel in it has been stuck in an eternal inferno, reports even suggest that oil has been leaking into the harbor of Kochi for up to three days now. The absolute state of the city of Kochi is dire, the worst factor being the fact that civilians are essentially trapped in the chaos. There are no safe routes out of the city currently, fighting takes place in many places in the actual city, but on the outskirts fighting is multiplied tenfold. Hundreds upon hundreds of militia-men or soldiers have been fighting in Kochi for so long now, and in such a short time Kochi has already seen the effects of modern combat. On November 3rd an explosion in the south-east of the city leveled three buildings including the Konan city hall, reports suggest that upwards of sixty-two civilians were killed by the explosion. Another factor of the amount of destruction in the city is the military, armed with artillery, howitzers, mortars, and self-propelled guns that have all been used actively in their assault on the city of Kochi. While some districts of Kochi are relatively unharmed, Kochi proper has been absolutely wrecked by inconsistent shelling. The military has made no effort in avoiding civilian centers of refuge or avoiding the few places that have been seen giving out rations to civilians. The military has encircled an incredible amount of Democratic Restorationist soldiers and have already wiped out a hundred or so of their soldiers; it's believed that upwards of one-hundred twenty fighters for the Democrats are currently encircled. The military at the same time at and around Kochi actively engaged against Socialists, Anarchists, and Leftists who are all, as of currently, still fighting alongside each other. It is unknown whether the small number of Corporatists around Kochi have actually been engaged by any faction, however it is known that they are actively avoiding combat and are believed to be attempting to flee combat zones. One foreign media company has been credited with coming up with the recently storming nickname for Kochi the "city of ash", despite its implications.

In the very far west of the country the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa Syndicate have been actively slaughtering soldiers of the Democratic Restorationists, videos of war crimes and firing squads have been soaring out of cities such as Uwajima and Sukumo. Nations that had a former diplomatic connection to Sazuyukama have condemned the actions of the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa Syndicate, however this will obviously have no impact on their actions in the brutal reality of a modern civil war. The Tojiwa and Hojofuwa Syndicate have been reportedly receiving lightly armored vehicles, such as recent reports of the usage of trucks and cars with mounted weaponry and metal plating suggests. This is the first instance of "armored" warfare that is being reported in Sazuyukama. The Tojiwa and Hojofuwa Syndicate have, despite attempts at resistance by Democratic fighters, made immense conquests in their offensives and continue to push back Democratic fighters day by day.

Recently, Japanese ships from Escort Squadron 5 of Escort Flotilla 1 of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces have protected multiple groups of Japanese soldiers landing at two different locations. Japanese soldiers have landed at Matsushige and landed on the coastline nearby Mt. Shiude. These Japanese soldiers set up zones that have been designated as zones for humanitarian efforts that have been welcoming fleeing civilians of the civil war and distributing medical aid along with food and water. Foreign media from countries such as China and Russia describe this as an act of intervention or even an invasion, however Japan has announced that it is only carrying out humanitarian efforts to ease the amount of chaos and death taking place in the Sazuyukama civil war.

Continuation of Brutality in Sazuyukama, the Slow March, and the Collateral Damage.

With the signature static of speaking through a radio, a rough voice, one obviously struck with immense grief spoke, “Let it be known, Sazuyukama still exists. Despite the fragmentation of our national status, these immense factions of warbent Soviet sympathizers or these disguised Fascists or even the Corporatist menace straggling our country with a noose cannot kill Sazuyukama. They can only change it. As long as we are separate from our former liege, the nation of Japan, we are Sazuyukama. Maybe not in blood, or culture, but we are Sazuyukama in spirit, in loyalty and in death. I myself was a former politician all those years ago, long before the corporations invaded our government and subjugated our Democratic system. I remember a Sazuyukama without corruption, without bribery, one with happiness and a thriving worklife for our people. I remember a prosperous Sazuyukama. I have yet to see unity like that of our former Sazuyukama across the world on a scale such as ours. Sazuyukama, considering its position, its neighbors, and its relatively small size, had incredibly high living standards. Many nations of similar size to Sazuyukama struggled, however Sazuyukama managed to prosper. Sazuyukama had a thriving economy, for a while had a corruption-free and fully Democratic government, it used to be secure. Now, Sazuyukama lay in shambles, presumably forever. It is unknown if whichever faction wins the war will reunite Sazuyukama, for all we know this civil war could be the end of the Sazuyukama of the past. If the coalition of Leftist is to come into power, we may see a Communist regime or Anarchist commune rise. If the military eliminates all other factions, we could very well see a military dictatorship or an autocracy form. If the corporatists somehow prevail, we may see the newer Sazuyukama return as one of faded Democratic principles built upon corporate dominion and control. If the criminal syndicates rise, we may see a criminal empire be created, one that might even resemble some form of pirate nation. One of the only hopes of a resurgent Sazuyukama, one from before the surge of corporate influence, one before the death of liberty and the decline of human rights, a Sazuyukama that was known as potentially the nation closest to a utopian standard. This singular hope is the Democratic faction. It may be the largest by popularity, however it is weak. The morale of its supporters is low, as they are currently being decimated by the military forces in the former capital of Kochi, they’re being assaulted viciously by the Socialists in the northernmost regions of Shikoku island, and they’re fighting against the semi-armored criminal army of the dual-syndicate faction. Their fight is one that will be long, grueling, and full of immense death. If the Democratic faction pulls through, despite all resistance in their path, and despite all odds against them, they could bring back the old Sazuyukama, one of liberty, democracy, and prosperity. There is only one faction that would bring back the Sazuyukama we need, the one we desire, the one that we lost. However, their capabilities are extremely limited, they are outnumbered, outgunned, and their morale is diminished. When in the face of impossible odds, a great typhoon of hostilities, it is understandable that one may lose all hope, but when the alternative to absolute resistance until victory is a regime so oppressive or so corrupt that all the people of the nation suffer, then one cannot simply give up. Few Democratic holdouts in Sazuyukama hold the sentiment needed by all of them to win the civil war, “No capitulation, annihilation”. They will never capitulate, never surrender, they will only die by their absolute annihilation at the hands of overwhelming enemy forces. This sentiment exists in many factions, but in practice it has been seen most by the Democrats fighting against the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa syndicates. Democratic fighters and leaders that have been interviewed by independent press operating in Sazuyukama have reported that this ideology of absolutely no capitulation is what fuels their guerilla war against the criminal organizations. They claim their cause is noble, and that they are blessed by the spirits of Shinto as they face armored vehicles and technicals like those used in the Middle-East. The Democrats fighting the rebellious military of Sazuyukama have all but essentially given up, remaining in their few strongholds attempting to keep themselves from being annihilated by the military’s armored vehicles, tanks, and aircraft. Reports from the leader of the Democratic cause in and around Kochi as they fight the former military of Sazuyukama say that they’ve lost tens of thousands of fighters in their resistance against the military. Beyond the Democrats, the broad coalition of Socialists in Matsuyama and Imabari have been completely overwhelming Democratic forces in the area and have even begun offensives into the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa syndicates. The Corporatists in Tokushima have for quite a while now remained in their own proclaimed territory, building up their own industry, an industry that resembles a country not actively in a civil-war. They have small production capacity for consumer goods, at the bare minimum managing to feed their people and provide them with basic furniture and the such. However their prized possession and their strongest asset is their fairly large capacity for war production,  they themselves are producing multiple different types of rifles, self defense weapons, and other small arms formerly used by Sazuyukama. These corporatists have secured themselves, while they don’t have the armored strength or numbers of the Sazuyukama military, they can at least have a lasting supply of weaponry. As for the Japanese safe zones established in Matsushige and on the coastline near Mt. Shiude, refugees from both civilian aspects of life and former fighters from various factions in the civil war flock to the awaiting fresh and warm meals, clean water, and safe tents where one can finally rest. It’s considered to be a blessing by many that the Japanese setup these refugee zones, which is understandable. The former capital city of Sazuyukama, Kochi, once a thriving metropolis on the island, one where businessmen and simple people both enjoyed life, with majestic streets and beautiful scenery, green trees in even the urban environment, Kochi was once upon a time perfect. However such is no more, Kochi’s tall buildings are now made of ash. The former residents of the city who flooded the streets each and every day are no longer in sight, either they’ve fled or joined a faction, or they’re dead. Quite simply it’s easy for many of those former citizens of Sazuyukama to talk about death and the deaths of their civil war, even as it still rages on. Death for the people of Sazuyukama has become numb, it is as normal as an apple falling from a tree. It’s been months since the start of the civil war, almost a year. Over one-hundred and fifty-thousand people are dead. Foreign aid shipments continue to extend the fighting capabilities of many factions, only prolonging the bloodshed of the people of Sazuyukama. Many former prominent leaders or figureheads of Sazuyukama’s society have tried to bring about peace, leading speeches and publishing cries for peace, asking all the factions to lay down their arms and allow for a peaceful settlement of the civil war just to avoid further bloodshed across the island. However, factions ignore this demand. Factions like the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa syndicate would certainly never listen to this demand, the Socialists are too hellbent on conquering the island for their cause, the Democrats are solidified in their belief that only they can bring about the old Sazuyukama, and the Corporatists are unwilling to negotiate unless it’s their absolute power being instated as a new regime. The life of a civilian in Sazuyukama, or more accurately, a survivor, is brutal. There is a massive food shortage across the island, the only reliable source of food is some of the untouched vegetation or isolated farms out in the mountains, but even then you’ll have to get there first. Most of Sauzuyukama’s population is located in urban environments, which has unfortunately led to a lot of deaths. Sazuyukama’s big cities have been the locations of the most fighting out of the entire island, they’ve also been the locations to see the most brutal fighting. It’s been repeated by foreign press and international media before, but Kochi has seen the most damage out of anywhere. Tens of thousands of people, maybe even closing in upon a hundred thousand people have died directly from conflict between multiple factions of the civil war, however many more have died from starvation or dehydration. The environmental impact of all the warfare has also been brutal, the sky on some days becomes blocked out in Kochi from the many fires that burn, debris and the likes now occupy the spots where trees used to be sat in the city, and the harbor of Kochi is still polluted with oil, a huge disaster.

It is known that when the government called upon the military to arrive in Kochi and other cities whenever the first armed rebellions began, the military was completely silent. No response was given to the national government, at least on a large scale. A few squads here and there, occasionally just some singular loyal men responded and came to the aid of the government, however this happened on a scale so tiny when you compare it to the rest of the military that went rogue. The rogue military looted warehouses and their own garrisons, taking all the weapons possible, not to mention the armored vehicles and aircraft. The absolute strength of the military faction firepower-wise compared to the other factions is nothing to ignore, if needed the military faction could shell an entire city with enough artillery that it would become a flatland in a matter of hours. Not to mention the potential for airstrikes. At the start of the civil war it was purely the Democrats, the broad Leftist coalition, pro-government police forces of Kochi city, and a small pocket or two of corporatists fighting Kochi. However all of these forces became more and more fearful as the rogue military slowly marched its way in the path of Kochi. Like a massive army, ready to siege a grand city, they marched. As they marched they displayed their aerial superiority and armored capabilities. They drove main battle tanks and flew helicopters along their path, destroying anything they had to fight along the way. In history, many militaries have had to leave a trail of destruction in their own land, but now Sazuyukama’s military did it. Although perhaps if the military didn’t go rogue, this wouldn’t have happened, it did. It’s fate that they carve this path through the mountains and forests of Shikoku island on their way to Kochi city. And while they are scattered into different groups on the island, many of them have already grouped up with the main force heading to Kochi. Like smaller parties joining back together to form one big warband heading to decimate the former capital of Sazuyukama. Their cannons shining on display, their boots muddy from a war-like march, and their guns as wary as the men who hold them. It was only a matter of time before these military men, on their own great crusade, for whatever belief they had hidden away, arrived in Kochi city. And one will only be able to watch. As for when the military leaves Kochi city, if they do, one will be astonished at what little they are likely to leave behind there. And so many spoke divine words; God save Sazuyukama, for nobody else can.

Despite foreign aid, humanitarian missions, and the interference of the Japanese in the form of their two humanitarian sites, the damage done to the civilians of Sazuyukama is devastating. Thousands of people in Sazuyukama have died, tens of thousands even. Closing in on a hundred thousand, only because of how careless every single faction is. The military alone can be held responsible for tens of thousands dead, their indiscriminate bombardment, especially in Kochi city, has killed so many. The military has killed many by artillery blasts, destruction of entire buildings, crossfire, airstrikes, and explosives. And yet, the military’s kill count regarding the innocent civilians of Shikoku island is only about equal to that of every other faction combined. The Leftist coalition have been indiscriminate when it comes to firing squads and executing those who they deem to be informants or ideological traitors, although this fact has varying degrees of truth when you complicate things with the different factions among the broad Leftist coalition. Their more radical factions such as the Stalinists and Maoists have been subject to the most accusations of war crimes and unsanitary conditions for prisoners. The Democratic Restorationists have seen the least civilian kills and the only accusations against them are poorly-backed ones clearly meant to just damage their reputation among the international world in order to end the flow of foreign aid coming to them, although such has not been achieved. The Democrats' only instance of collateral damage in the form of the death of civilians has been from crossfire, which is the second most common cause for the death of civilians in Sazuyukama. Foreign ministers when asked why they continue to support the Democratic Restorationists with weapons packages and first aid despite the fact that they have also killed civilians have described that it is easy to mistake somebody for the enemy or to accidentally fire upon the wrong people when in the midst of combat, only citing the adrenaline, panic, and the blurriness of it all. And yet, this still hasn’t swayed those who are motivated to be against the Democratic Restorationists to quit their hostile accusations and bothersome agenda. Countries such as the Russian Federation, People’s Republic of China, North Korea, Pakistan, Iran, and many others have been supporting various other factions, primarily the Broad Socialist coalition. A few such cases suggest that a few of these countries are supporting every faction except for the Democratic Restorationist, reinforcing the idea that their agenda is not that of a friendly-government in Sazuyukama but instead one that is at least not Democratic. What can be said about the situation in Sazuyukama is that foreign intervention, radicalism, and many other variables have led to the deaths of hundreds of thousands. However in the end, it can all be narrowed down to the greed of corporations, their greed and desire for a grip like that of death himself over politicians in order to reinforce their position in Sazuyukama led to the instability of the government, it’s ineptitude to resist the destabilization of the social order, and only doomed the nation to absolute collapse. And so, when the big bad wolf took a deep breath that day, he blew a breeze mightier than any other, and as such, the whole rotten structure caved in. The big bad wolf, grieved over such a loss, for he lost his purpose. He lost the thing that he huffed, and puffed, and tried to blow down. His greed to indulge himself led to that loss. But it was a small loss, one he saw much more opportunity in.

Sengoku

February 18th, 2013. Two years, two whole years. It’s been two whole years since the civil war in Sazuyukama began. Two years of suffering, two years of pain, two years of absolute destruction and endless conflict. The heart of it all takes place in Kochi city, easily the most important city because of the vast industrial presence in the city along with the massive harbor located at the city. Kochi city has been a target of many factions, primarily the military, broad Socialist coalition, and the Democratic Restorationists. However, today, the 18th, multiple factions have agreed to sign a treaty to end the civil war, the only ones refusing to partake in said treaty being to Tojiwa and Hojofuwa syndicate as well as the Corporatists, who continue to ravage and dictate the western portions of Shikoku island. Thus, the broad Socialist coalition, the Democratic Restorationists, and the former military of Sazuyukama are all in the process of creating an official treaty that will end all conflicts between their respective factions and thus create a united government, one that they will claim to be the new Sazuyukama. This treaty will establish a new Sazuyukama, under the same new, same flag, but it will be of an ideology decided upon as a compromise of the varying opinions and ideologies of the multiple factions coming together. And so one can only expect this to be a new beginning for Sazuyukama, or at least, at the bare minimum, one can hope. However, despite this, there is a growing threat. Despite the military having immense armored strength and what can only be assumed to be the only active air units on the entire island, the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa syndicate has been devastating in its most recent attacks. The dual syndicate have been relentlessly assaulting joint Socialist-Democrat-Military forces for days now, in what can only be assumed to be a furious reply to the treaty being formulated between the three factions. These attacks have resulted in alarming casualties for the Socialist, Democrat, and military forces. Even more alarming news, multiple armored vehicles and aircraft including helicopters and main battle tanks have been destroyed in combat with Syndicate forces, this brings about the question of if the Syndicate has secured shipments of anti-tank and ground-to-air weaponry. On the other side of Shikoku island, the Corporatists in their isolated city stronghold have assembled their own industrial force, providing both consumer goods to the civilians still living there and at the same time manufacturing enough weapons to keep a standing infantry army comparable to that of the military’s.

The treaty being established between the broad Socialist Coalition, the Democratic Restorationists, and the former military of Sazuyukama is being mediated by the Japanese government, who are working to prevent a breakup of these three powers and to ensure that the treaty successfully satisfies each party involved. While such intervention by the Japanese as to mediate a treaty between multiple factions of the Sazuyukama civil war, they still have not performed any military intervention and their current and previous intervention have only resulted in lives saved and safety for many. However many have begun to speculate, does this creation of a larger government, only provoke more devastating warfare. The manpower of the Socialist coalition, the morale of the Democrats, and the equipment of the military only creates a stronger entity, a larger force. It was originally thought that factions would be knocked out one by one, but this merge of multiple factions has solidified the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa syndicate to fight until the end, and it’s guaranteed that this combined government won’t stop fighting either. It’s a death match, one or the other, many foreign politicians have already described the situation as becoming more and more dire for Sazuyukama. In their own words, “The creation of this combined government has provoked further radicalism amongst their enemies, this radicalism has only diminished the already minimal chance of said enemies surrendering. This combined government and their enemies appear to be of equal footing, however, I guarantee that we will not see a peaceful end between this combined government and their enemies. It is a civil war that will only end out of the annihilation of all but one faction.”

And as God swore it so, nobody tried to save Sazuyukama, because nobody, not even God can.

Through Their Eyes

Major Hiroshoka’s Personal Log

May 8th, 2013

Army Group South, 3rd Field Army, 4th Corps, 7th Division “Kochi”, 53rd Infantry Regiment

Operating: Shimanto City Combat Zone; Actively Engaged (13 Hours Counting)

Active Orders: Hold all strategic objectives in the Shimanto City Combat Zone; Allow no breakthrough whatsoever; Maintain frontline cohesion in the Shimanto City Combat Zone

We’ve been under constant assault for the past few days. The forces of the Tojiwa and Hojofuwa Syndicate have been sending wave after wave of infantry, light armored vehicles, and death squads our way. Casualties have been moderate on our side, but I’m afraid we might not be killing enough of the enemy to deter them from attacking our position further. My major concern is the fact that the Syndicate divisions and brigades are excellent at operating without proper command structure, as well as the fact that they seem to have proficiency in evacuating encircled, trapped, or injured squads or even whole squadrons. They’re amazing at saving men, I admire them for it, but at the same time they’re all criminals. Even if they’re armies show mercy upon their common man when their leaders come into power they’ll establish a brutal and corrupt crime state. As far as I’m concerned, our stronghold here at Shimanto is our biggest. As far as I know, I think we receive the most supplies as well. Honestly, I think and it seems our commanders think that we’re the most important place on the entire frontline. I don’t necessarily blame them either, from how I see it, if they take Shimanto they won't have a long trip to Kochi considering how our backlines are looking. While we have good cohesion on the frontline, we don’t have anything defending our backline, besides disorganized, disheartened, and recovering from annihilation or intense combat brigades or even entire divisions. We don’t have the spare resources or manpower to have dedicated backline divisions to ensure proper cohesion and to be available in the event of a breakthrough. It’s been difficult to maintain proper equipment production, especially when you have no proper businesses or businessmen to make it for you. We’ve had to start our own shabby war industry and it’s only in its early stages, nonetheless it’s not up to standard either. Despite owning about half the island it’s still abysmally small. We receive some private equipment shipments from interested politicians or businessmen, it’s helpful but at the same time we know it’s not because they are supportive of our cause, it’s purely business and influence. Still, even with the little support we get, I still wish it was more. I’m thankful for what is sent, but disappointed at how little it is. I’ve had to make thirty or so men sit around in a building during combat, purely because we don’t have enough rifles or ammunition for them. I’d give them a shotgun or a PDW, but orders demand that those be allocated to special operations. Special operations, ironic, considering this is a civil war we’re fighting. I don’t know what makes a guerilla operation or some infiltration in a civil war special, at the end of the day all of this fighting is purely barbaric compared to a real war. While this is one of the few civil wars to involve actual tactics and modern styles of warfare, this is still like a large stage, a play if you will, one of us plays the devil and many of us play the civilians trapped in this hell. It’s gotten better for them on multiple occasions, first when the Japanese came and intervened, setting up two refugee zones on the island, second when that treaty was signed, uniting three of our factions into one. I’m too far off track, so, instead of rambling on my own reports further, I’ll get to casualties.

With these casualties, we may not hold this city for long. Reinforcements were promised two hours ago, with an eta of 30 minutes, but we have yet to receive anything. I’d be happy with just supplies at this point, but the spirits know that we need more soldiers for this battle. I definitely have my work cut out for me, at this point the command chain here has shortened down to me, I’m stuck leading this whole defense, lucky me. I heard from scouts behind our lines that they spotted one or two convoys heading in our general region of the frontline, so hopefully they’re coming to us. With how important holding Shimanto is in the grand scheme of things, I'm surprised they haven’t prioritized resupplying us. I have to sign this off now, even if it’s not necessarily a report to anyone. Major Hiroshoka signing off, the gunfire draws ever closer.

Beginning of New Sazuyukama

March 6th, 2014.

At long last. Peace. Finally. Three years of devastation, chaos, murder, and warfare, at last it all comes to an end. Finally, the people of Sazuyukama can rest, no longer having to hide from each faction as they conduct their battles in the rotten husks of former cities and towns. Now, Sazuyukama may finally begin to rebuild. Kochi, Shimanto, Takamatsu, Tokushima, Muroto, Uwajima, Yawatahama, and all other cities and towns on Shikoku island can once again thrive, although maybe not in this time, but in the future such will be their fate. With brave triumph and determined heroes, the coalition government of three factions, the broad Leftists, the Democratic Restorationists, and the Military have washed away the syndicates in a series of offensives, like the approaching waves of a great typhoon. There is no peace deal, only the absolute annihilation of the syndicates has been achieved. Peace was never an option, and so, in total victory, the coalition government preservers. The military has established itself into a policing force, garrisoning itself in every town and city, maintaining order as people flock out of the forests and mountains of Shikoku island, returning back to what’s left or their cities. The broad Leftists and the Democratic Restorationists are working together on reestablishing a presidential system and parliament similar to that of pre-civil war Sazuyukama. The broad Leftists and the Democratic Restorationists have also been working together to reestablish the necessary civil services for the rebuilding of the New Sazuyukama. Just as it was before the civil war, the capital of Sazuyukama once again lies in Kochi city, although it saw the most destruction, it is the historical capital of the nation and has been the primary focus of reconstruction efforts.

It has been so declared by all those currently rebuilding Sazuyukama that the old rights and laws of the third Constitution of Sazuyukama shall be stored, although the policies having been passed by the parliament of Sazuyukama and the corporate-puppet presidents of Sazuyukama shall hereby be revoked and forgotten, such as those that stripped the rights and protections ever so graciously bestowed upon the common worker long ago, all people of Sazuyukama shall now have their rights and privileges restored, and their prosperity shall hopefully return to them as it once was. Let it be known, for all years before 2000, Sazuyukama thrived as one of the most economically and socially prosperous nations in the world. While not economically thriving in riches, Sazuyukama has most definitely thrived amongst its masses. Few in Sazuyukama see poverty, the nation has moved past the times of slums and dedicated low-income residential zones. Sazuyukama was not rich itself, but the people had everything they needed, and a little more. As for its social prosperity, little of it comes from diversity. It is a sad truth, yet an apparent one that Sazuyukama’s immigration policies were strict, and those of new Sazuyukama twice as strict. However, socially, Sazuyukama has thrived in local Asian diversity. The concept of dedicated districts of cities or towns allocated to a certain splinter group of people in the society of Sazuyukama is foreign, the moderate Chinese or Korean populace of Sazuyukama live amongst the Japanese majority, in harmony with one another. The tensions between countries such as China and Sazuyukama have done little to stir unrest between the Japanese and Chinese population of Sazuyukama, only reinforcing the fact that Sazuyukama’s society prospers.

Although the beginning of New Sazuyukama seems to be underway at an excellent pace and with even better planning and initiative, a compromise ideology has not been determined. All three of the factions that came together for the good of Sazuyukama can all agree on wanting the return of the old pure Democratic ways of Sazuyukama, but none can agree on an official ideology to undertake this pathing towards rebirth. Sazuyukama has only ever known itself as simply a “Democracy”, while called different alternative names depending on the president’s political grouping or party no name has replaced the simple and absolute fact that Sazuyukama is a Democracy. The Democratic ways of Sazuyukama have only ever been considered null and void by the people of Sazuyukama in the later years of Sazuyukama, before the civil war began.

As it stands, the broad Leftist coalition has varying opinions depending on which group of them you ask. The standard Communists such as Marxists, Leninists, or the mixture of both simply advocate for the return of workers’ rights alongside Democracy, of which this demand has already been satisfied. The extremists such as Stalinists and Maoists have pushed further, demanding concessions to trade unions and the left, of which the voice of these demands has only been humored so far by being allowed to project these demands. And finally, the Anarchists. The Anarchists hold major distrust in the current situation of reconstruction, while obviously against all governments, they have decided to avoid further conflict and reconcile with all other factions because of the mass amount of Anarchist casualties in the civil war. Thus, the Anarchists hold no demands, but at the same time do not actually agree with any government either way.

As for the Democratic Restorationists, there are primarily three groups. The moderate Democrats, or the regular Democrats hold no particular demands or goals, they’re simple advocates for the Democratic ways.

And this is the end, all my work. Everything I beloved. Months of work and consideration. I don't even want to look at it anymore, just because I hate everything that all this work brought upon me and everything it manifested into. If anybody who remembers me see's this page, please, stop trying to contact me already. If I have to be honest, I hate most if not all of you, simply because I can't get you all out of my head. Behold, my work that I once loved more than everything else.
