Tibet (Tibetan: བོད་, Wylie: Bod) is a country in East Asia that lasted since the collapse of the Qing dynasty.

The Tibetan Ganden Phodrang regime was a protectorate of the Qing dynasty until 1912. When the provisional government of the Republic of China was formed, it received an imperial edict giving it control over all the territories of the Qing dynasty. It managed to inforce it's authority over Tibet. The Dalai Lama declared that Tibet's relationship with China ended with the fall of the Qing dynasty and proclaimed independence. Tibet and Outer Mongolia also signed a treaty proclaiming mutual recognition of their independence from China. Its independence was not formally recognized by other countries until 1966.

Tibet was eventually invaded by the People's Republic of China, but they failed due to the mountainous terrain of Tibet.

The Communist Government were having alot of trouble keeping corruption out of the Govenment, and this caused the collapse of the Tibetan economy. Eventually this lead to the overthrow of the Government by a bunch of Monarchists, which lead to the absolute collapse of the economy due to civil unrest. A huge famine by the Monarchists broke out, and the entire nation collpased, a new Maoist party took over a province and invaded rest of the factions and established the People's Republic of Tibet, they also deposed the Queen. The economy saw it's first increase in the last 6 years.
