History: The Heavenly Kingdom of Oestrem was once just a kingdom. The first king, Maertijn, was unliked by the people. He was overthrown, and a man claiming to be the messiah, Jezoue took his place. The country quickly ran out of food due to its growing population , but this was eventually fixed. The country is very hostile to most others. After the second great starvation, Jezoue realized that his people needed more freedoms, so put in place a constitutional Theocracy, with him as the official leader, but a democratically elected President having power. This caused a split in the followers of Jezitism, as it was no longer mandatory to follow it. Most joined the Berria Jezites, a new form that was less "cult like", and more about wellbeing and happiness. The Old Jezites, still worshipping and devoting their life to Jezoue do still exist, but there are far fewer of them.
