There is a wide variety of terrain in the mainland of Velrulion: Vast central plains, mountains in west, hills and low mountains in east; rugged mountains and broad river valleys in Alterras; rugged, volcanic topography in Halae and the territories.
The climate of Velrulion varies due to differences in latitude, and a range of geographic features, including mountains and deserts. To the West of the nation, much of Velrulion is semi-arid to desert in the far southwestern Velrulion, and Albaric Sea along the Reiter coast. To the East of the nation, the climate is humid continental in the northern areas east through the province of Orlais, to humid subtropical in the Gulf and South Tolaric regions. The Southern province Flarais is tropical, as is provinces Halae and the Virgin Isles. Higher-elevation areas of the Ignoble Mountains, the Widow, Star Neverra, and Constan Range are alpine. The West Coast areas in the coastal provinces of Ortais and Washington are cool oceanic climate. The state of Alterras, on the northwestern corner of the continent, is largely subarctic climate, but with a cool oceanic climate in the southeast (Alterras Panhandle), southwestern peninsula and Aleutian Islands.
Our society mostly identifies with a centrally planned economic system. Due to hostile neighbors in a hostile world. We had to focus on the development of our economic system first by deciding who gets land and so on. However, there are socialist ties. Originally in the past, the Imperial Military, known formally as the Militus Imperialis atque suus Imperialis Auxilias, respectively, translated into Low Gothic as the hosts of the Imperial Forces and its auxiliaries. The Imperial Military contains ground, air and space assets all within the same table of organization.
However, in today's time, the Imperial Military and its Auxilaries were divided into the Imperial Army, Excertus Imperialis, and the Imperial Navy, Navum Imperialis.
The Imperial Army can call to arms a huge number of men. With large amounts of armored and airborne assets being put as their Imperialis Auxilias. The Stormtrooper Corps is another member of the Imperial Army's Imperialis Auxilias. Stormtroopers are the assault/policing troops of the Empire of Velrulion. As members of the Stormtrooper Corps, an independent branch that operated under the Imperial Army, stormtroopers represented the elite soldier of the Imperial Military—trained for total obedience to the command hierarchy, as well as absolute loyalty to the Emperor and the Imperial regime. Stormtroopers are trained at Imperial Academies, and use a variety of weapons.
The Imperial Navy are the dedicated Air Force and Naval Forces within the seas and the air.
