The start of Boogerham begins at the end of the Pyranic Empire. The Pyranic Empire was invaded by barbarians and fled to the sea, where the Empire split into three countries. Rufan, Umbadah, and Boogerham.
Boogerham was formed by Viktor Boogerham, and mostly consisted of citizens from Nescio and Suspectum of the Pyranic Empire. In the sea, they formed the current day capital, Xeniolum.
Many years went by in the sea, and during those years, Viktor built an army. Because, he wanted his people to return to the homelands where Pyran once stood. Once his army grew to a much greater size than the barbarians, he struck.
It was a five month long war, and ultimately resulted in Boogerham's victory. They reclaimed the homelands.
Viktor then ordered the old cities to be rebuilt, and anything relating to the barbarians to be destroyed.
The two other states had mixed feelings about the reclaiming. While, they were happy the barbarians have been destroyed, they wanted the homelands for themselves. So, Viktor gave them a deal: They could claim the huge lands neighbouring the homeland, but Boogerham gets to keep the small piece of land that is the homeland.
The other states agreed to this deal after two months of consideration.
But, conflict soon started to stir after Rufan's democracy collapsed. A monarchist tyrant became the ruler of Rufan, and he did not like the fact Boogerham was in control of the homeland. So, the tyrant ordered for Boogerham to be attacked, so that perhaps Rufan could have control over the homeland.
The attack was sudden and shocking, and is dubbed as the bloodiest night of Boogerham's history, the Rufanic Invasion of Suspectum. Boogerham did attempt to defend themselves, but was very shaken due to the attacks, and so they had to flee to the ocean.
Rufan quickly gained control of the homeland, and won the battle. Viktor Boogerham was deeply troubled, he wanted to retaliate, but knew his forces were not enough to take down Rufan.
So, he sailed to Atlantis, the Capital of Enchant, the nation of sirens. He asked them for help, and they quickly agreed.
Soon enough, Enchant and Boogerham's forces launched the counter-attack against Rufan.
Boogerham used cannons on their ships to destroy the enemies on the land, and also destroy Rufan-built infrastructure.
Enchant used ancient magiks, an energy Rufan did not understand at the time, to launch many tidal waves that swept through the enemies, leaving only memories of the armies that once stood.
Overwhelmed by the sheer power of the attack, Rufan forces quickly retreated and Boogerham was able to reclaim the homelands.
Many years have passed since then, and it has been peaceful for the most part. Although, there are constant rising tensions with Rufan and Boogerham. But, no wars. |
