History: Navera has always been a small nation, starting off with the joining of 3 ancient tribes; The Kotu, Lakoto, and The Erui. The Kotu were a tribe of strong minded people, solving difficult life situations with ease but with the strong mind came stubbornness that had thrown them into civil war on multiple occasions. The Lakoto were more of a warrior based tribe. Constant infighting left the tribe unstable, causing the leadership to change constantly. The Erui were that of peace and prosperity, their main focus was the land and giving back more than they could take. Peace was their way of life but that led to them being complacent and weak. During the times of the Kotu last civil war, the Lakoto took advantage of the broken tribe and invaded the Kotu lands. Much to the Lakoto's surprise, the Kotu stopped all fighting and banded together to face off against the Lakoto. Granted the Kotu were smaller, less warrior based people, they were much greater in number than the physically superior Lakoto. The Lako-Kotu War ravage all the land around as the fighting had led to a stalemate, but the conflict had spread into the Erui land. Since the Erui believed that the land is creator of all and giver of all, they could not stand for what the other tribes were doing to it. The Erui tribal council gathered to discuss what they would do. After long hours of conversing, they had decided that they would facilitate peace between the warring tribes. It did not take long for the Erui to act on their decision, but they knew that the negotiations between the Lakoto and the Kotu would not progress so quickly. The Erui sent out two parties, one to the leader camp of the Lakoto and the other to the central village of the Kotu. Many days passed and more lives were lost as the peace negotiations lurched forward. That all changed after a defining battle where the eldest sons of both the Lakoto and Kotu were both killed in battle. Even being a warrior tribe, the Lakoto greatly mourned the loss of the young prince and lost much fight with the loss of their heir. The three tribes met again and finally agreed on a form of peace but with that came a big change, the merging of all the tribes and land, since without all three, they wouldn't be balanced. On that day, the tribal nation of Navera was created. The young nation experienced hardship trying to become accustomed to the merging of the tribes. Many years went by with Navera being led by the Council of Nine, three representatives from each of the three tribes, until one day it was decided that since the decended families of the original four leaders had mingled and become one, that their line would become the rightful rules of Navera. This led to the coronation of the first King of Navera, Garoka the Grand. Navera prospered under the singular rule of Garoka, for he was a fair and just ruler, keeping the people and the land is strong consideration when ruling. He was King of Navera from the age of 31 to the age of 76 when he stepped down from throne and gave the rule over to his son, Gilgamesh, father of the current leader, Gilgamesh the great. King Gilgamesh was a great but stern king, having seen all the imperfections in his father's time of rule. He pushed Navera to new technological heights when he commissioned scientists, alchemists and archeologists from all over the known world to come and work at the institution he had created, the Library of Havashnavera. The library was King Gilgamesh's crown jewel, having complied countless texts, scriptures and priceless artifacts of the old and new world. The rule of King Gilgamesh came to an abrupt end when he suddenly fell ill to an unknown and uncurable disease. The disease took his life in a matter of weeks, bringing his reign to an end after only 17 years. The coronation of the new king, King Gilgamesh the Great, having earned that name from his abundant victories in battle and acquisition of many artifacts, came not long after the mourning period for his late father. Gilgamesh the Great followed closely in his father and grandfather's steps while improving on their missteps. He has brought forth an Era of peace, prosperity and happiness.
