In the beginning, Artucky had been a small region within the vast Legerian Empire. However the empire did fall from multiple revolts around the globe. Leading the Artucks to also revolt and conquer its surrounding lands held by Legeria. After the Legerians capitulated, Artucky was left as one of the many Tuck Nation-states. Following the Zentuck conquest of Vontontucky, Artucky had joined Zentucky willingfully. As they knew they couldn't win in a war against them. After Zentucky had unified the Tuckish Isles, the Great Tuckland Empire was formed. Artucky had only been a state of this empire until 1835. Where they sucessfully regained independence in revolt. Throughout the late 1800s, many smaller states on the Tuck Isles feared Zentuck militarism, so they agreed to join Artucky in exchange for protection. Artucky would later obtain overseas colonies through conquest and diplomacy. Later in the 1920s, war broke out around the globe and Artucky finally fell to a coalition of its enemies.This led to an Artuck puppet state being formed. A decade following this war, an Artuck nationalist movement swept through the nation, leading to two different revolts which further lead to a fractured Artucky. What remained of Artucky being North Artucky, a puppet state controlled by a far northern nation, the CNL (comitato nazionale legionario) an authoritarian military regime in the south east of the nation. And Free Artucky. An anti authoritarian state, which occupies Artucky’s colonies and the south west of the fractured Artucky. The future of Artucky lies within the 3 political factions, each with ambitions to be the true and only Artucky
