Economically, The Kingdom of Holmania favors left wing policies. The official currency of The Kingdom of Holmania is the Gold Standard. At 398 days old, The Kingdom of Holmania is an ancient nation. The Kingdom of Holmania has a population of 5,247,748 and a land area of 63,500.00 sq. miles. This gives it a national average population density of 82.64. Pollution in the nation is almost non-existent. The citizens' faith in the government is completely depleted with an approval rating of 0%.

A nation that will rise again.

On May 7, 2023, exactly three weeks after its' inception, Holmania reached ten cities, therefore surpassing the previous nation of Darana destroyed in Nuclear War.

On May 13, 2023, Holmania won its' 50th war. 

Starting 5/16/2023 and ending 6/3/2023 Holmania went to war against Camelot as part of The Coal Mines. The war ended in white peace.

On 7/31/2023, Holmania completed its' 100th war, with a win/loss score of 95 victories, and 5 losses.

On 8/16/2023, Holmania won its' 100th victory. 

On 12/15/2023, Holmania finally achieved the building of 20 cities, therefore becoming more powerful than either its' current incarnation or its' previous incarnation as the nation of Darana, ravaged by Nuclear War.

On 12/19/2023, Camelot, The Cypher, and Singularity declared war on The Coal Mines.

On 02/02/24, said conflict, known as Matrix: Assimilations, ended in white peace.

During this time, Holmania was promoted to a low gov position in Military Affairs.

History: A resurrection of a nation once known as Darana. It was demolished by nuclear warfare, courtesy of GOONS. The few surviving members fled the irradiated ruins and rebuilt as Holmania, after their deceased leader, Allan Holman, and led by his descendant, Benjamin Holman. Once militarized, Holmania avenged itself by attacking and defeating the few surviving members of GOONS rebranded alliance, the Green Protection Agency.

They reassumed their position in The Coal Mines, and have since grown much more powerful than Darana ever was, and did so in a shorter time period.

Holmania, in its' infancy, relied mostly on coal in order to power its cities and eventually industrialize into a steel producing nation. In order to prevent pollution from becoming an issue, Holmania made the controversial decision to rely on nuclear power. In response to this, the ANA (Anti-Nuclear Association) was formed.

Thanks to the proven safety of Nuclear Reactor Facilities, the membership of the ANA was small upon their formation, counting only less than 0.1% of the population among their ranks. However, their numbers swelled to roughly 20% of the population upon the formation of the Nuclear Research Facility, enabling Holmania to manufacture and use nuclear weapons. Eventually, lobbying and protesting led to Benjamin Holman agreeing to pass a bill stating that nuclear weapons could only be manufactured during wartime, and were to be decommissioned upon declaration of peace.

While the ANA has failed so far in the pursuit of full nuclear disarmament, their numbers have steadily grown to encompass nearly 40% of the population, and it is speculated that public perception of the nation will eventually drop to less than 100% for the first time since the nation of Holmania was a week old. (The record for lowest population support is 97%).

Ironically, the pro-war fervor of most Holmanians led to the government of Holmania being totally hated after they signed several truces and was defeated in several wars, despite avoiding nuclear destruction, following several demands of the people, and bringing their nation to never-before seen prosperity. They were also wrathful at the idea that the King had 'sold out' their glorious nation to help a larger collective that did not hold their nation's best interests first. Nevermind the fact that not making any allies and being "us first!" had lead to the nuclear razing of Darana.

King Benjamin Holman, in his wrath, signed the Raw Deal, completely dissolving the Holmanian infantry and ordering all males 18 to 55 to work in the iron mines and steel mills (women work the hospitals and recycling centers). Upon sending them to the rest of their miserable lives, King Holman gave this speech:

"Depart from me, you vile, short-sighted ingrates! Every day, you will work hard labor and shorten your miserable lives while I bed your sisters and wives! You WILL learn the meaning of the common good, while your loved ones of the female persuasion raise my bastard children that you came home from a hard day of filling my treasury to discover the existence of! Away from my sight!"
True to his word, at least a fifth of Holmania's newborn children have been genetically proven to be the King's biological children, although only the children born of his wife are considered his actual successors.

Industries: In the beginning stages of Holmania, they were a raider nation that used piracy to support the financial cost of growing their nation. Now well fortified, and with war targets drying up, Holmanian leadership decided not to do so.
At one point, Holmania had made the decision to mine coal and iron, with the eventual plan of industrialization and the refinement of steel. Eventually, Holmania realized this goal, but decided it would be more effective to simply buy the raw resources needed, to free up infrastructure and lower pollution.

After the Raw Deal act, iron and steel are Holmania's major exports.
Military
History: The few men and women that survived the complete nuclear purge of our old nation by GOONS made up the first local militia.

The Holmanian infantry was later dissolved as part of the Raw Deal act, but in times of war Holmanian men will gladly join up with the military for a chance to get out of the mines and take out their aggression on their enemies.
