History: The nation was founded back in 1855 by European explorers looking for new land. They soon met the natives and formed an alliance with them. After the fall of the majority of the European monarchies, Mensent became an independent nation. The country soon became a dictatorship due to having a leaderless government, and with desperate citizens, a dictatorship was formed. The harsh reign, after 5 years was ended by a military coup, in which the General of the Army soon disagreed with the evil dictator. After lots of fighting with the National Guard's, the People's Republic of Mensent was soon formed by liberal politicians. The retired general soon became the first president of Mensent.

Terrain: The countryside of Mensent has a beautiful environment, renowned for its forests and lakes. Most retired families come to enjoy the sceneries and some as a vacation. The city, especially downtown, is filled with buildings and skyscrapers. National parks are peaceful, a good relaxation with a lot of historical artifacts. There are also places where most industrial factories run, which mostly pollutes the air, which is why they must be 1000 km away from residential homes. The majority of the forests were cut down for municipal purposes.

Present day, to avoid harsh laws and evil dictator's, the president has limited control to what his military can do. Instead, the president appoints the minister of defence, which in turn has full control over the military. The president will sometimes be granted emergency powers which will be active in the case of war.
