History: The Canadian Federation was founded July 1, 1867 when the Independence Act of Canada was signed with the United Kingdom, the original three provinces that formed The Canadian Federation were Ontario, Quebec, and Alverney. The new government was also given control over Rupert's Land and the Northern Territory which caused conflict with local Indigenous when expansion started in 1870 resulting in the creation of Sioux Plains. In 1871 New England which was already independent joined Canada with the Transnational Canadian Railway being built to connect them to the rest of the country. The following year in 1872 the Indigenous Act was passed which placed all Indigenous land and enforcement of treaties under the jurisdiction of the federal government.

By 1905 the amount of migration west prompted the creation of Alberta and expansion of Sioux Plains by Parliament however this also increased tensions with Indigenous people. As a response President Howard Evans ordered the creation of the National Canadian Police Service and and Department of Citizen Services to allow for more control in the region. Throughout the rest of the Evans Administration efforts were made to expand control over the Indigenous including creation of reservations and expansion of the Indigenous Act to include education, healthcare, governance, and rights. The DCS was then given control to enforce the Indigenous Act and used it in addition to the western settling to force Indigenous onto reservations. A total of 80% of Indigenous people had moved to reservations by 1908 with the remaining scattered across the country.

The Canadian Federation entered into WW1 in 1914 due to Great Britain still having control over Canada's foreign affairs. Approximately 625,000 Canadians served with 60,000 killed and 172,000 injured throughout the war. In 1917 an enlistment crisis forced Parliament to pass the Military Service Act which made military service mandatory, and caused anger in Quebec. In 1931 the Independence Act of Canada was updated to give The Canadian Federation more control over its foreign affairs. Canada entered WW2 in 1939 with 1 million soldiers fighting and playing key roles in several battles. By the end of WW2 a strong economy and military lead to the creation of the Department of Defence and Department of Commerce.

In 1949 New Labrador joined The Canadian Federation following a financial crisis caused by the Great Depression. Then from 1965-1971 Liberal Presidents implemented welfare programs, public healthcare, and new federal agencies. In 1971 civil unrest broke out in Quebec over separation leading to clashes against police and terror attacks. After two failed referendums, in 1997 the Supreme Court ruled against Quebec and the army is sent to put down the terrorists. During this, in 1982 The Canadian Federation gained complete separation from the UK and created the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. By 1999 Nunavut is created out of the Northern Territory finalizing the current borders. Throughout the 2000’s The Canadian Federation supported its allies in several wars and addressed the crimes committed against Indigenous people.

When global tensions rose in 2022 the federal government ordered the creation of fallout shelters in northern areas to protect the population. Approximately one month before the Great Balkanization fearing the likely nuclear war Canadians began evacuating to the shelters, when the bombs launched 70% of the population had already evacuated. Toronto, Regina, Vancouver, and Quebec City were hit by smaller Nuclear weapons, leaving neighbourhoods abandoned for years until rebuilding efforts began in 2030 when radiation dissipated.
