UPSP is attacked by various mega corporations and rebels. Resulting in large military losses.
Belize war. 8,000 UPSP forces killed. 21,000 Belize forces killed. Belize and all territories established in UPSP rule.

First Executive Kaus ends all government means of control over industry, education, and healthcare.
October 13th:
World Government collapses. Various regional alliances form in its absence.
October 26th:
Guyana attacks UPSP. UPSP sustains heavy losses of 9,401 personal in initial attacks.

First Executive Thomas:2nd First Executive.
Time in office: 19 years.
First Executive Thomas Kaus is the head of state of the United Provinces of South America (UPSP). He began his first term on December 1st and has since made significant strides towards economic development, agriculture, and territorial expansion. During his time in office, he has also faced challenges such as war, terrorist attacks, and economic recession.
In December of his first year in office, Kaus spent $5 billion on developing new regions, and established oil, gasoline, and lead production. He also spent $8 billion on economic and land development in the Sacramento region, as well as providing extensive foreign aid to ally Western Hemisphere nations. However, war broke out between the former U.S. countries, the Confederate States of America and the Colonies of Virginia, and Kaus maintained neutrality while condemning Virginia. The Confederate States of America defended and gained territory from Virginia, but post-conflict Confederate territory suffered from a disease outbreak, leading Kaus to restrict immigration.
In December, UPSP was attacked by far-reaching terrorist corporation actions, causing severe damage to the country's military and civil infrastructure. Peru, Venezuela, and Columbia were suspected of executing the attack, and China was suspected of supplying the means for the attack. In response, UPSP received $40 trillion in aid from Canada, Mexico, and Japan to stabilize the damage taken from attacks.
In January, the UPSP Executive Council declared war on Columbia, and UPSP and Panama occupied Columbian territory. They occupied Venezuela, Columbia, and Peru, and Kaus reallocated large agricultural land reserves towards economic reestablishment, spending $20 billion. In February, UPSP provided aid to Chile, Brazil, and the United States of Central America, and Kaus invested $15 billion in agricultural development. Russia declared war on Argentina, threatening UPSP economic independence. In response, UPSP entered a recession.
Kaus established a new region titled Columbia State and invested $58.9 billion in its establishment, but statehood representation failed in Council vote. He also invested $40 billion in law enforcement and medical services in each region. In March, Canada declared war on the Confederate States of America, and the Executive Council declared war on Canada. After major combat operations, Canada surrendered to UPSP, granting UPSP control of the Canadian government and territory, and UPSP gained two northern territories south of Alaska. Kaus invested $40 billion into the South Alaska region and invested $30 billion in the New Canada region.
Throughout his time as head of state, Kaus has shown a strong focus on economic and agricultural development, investing significant sums of money into these sectors. He has also shown a willingness to take action in response to challenges, such as declaring war on Norway in response to their declaration of war on the Colonies of Virginia. Kaus's response to the terrorist attacks on UPSP demonstrated his ability to secure aid from other countries and stabilize the damage caused by the attacks. Overall, Kaus's leadership style prioritizes economic development, agriculture, and territorial expansion, while also responding to challenges with quick and decisive action. |
