History: After the Fall of Luzon at the hands of the Communist Party of the Philippines and the annexation of Taiwan by the People's Republic of China, thousands of Filipinos and Taiwanese have migrated using the Muni Fleet that consisted 21 ships and other international vessels to escape the communist dictatorship in the Philippines. Thus, the etymology of Muni Republic was named after the fleet refugees have used.

According to the Treaty of Incheon, also known as the Reformation of Sakhalin and Kuril Islands, refugees from the South China War were granted rights to settle and form a state on the island of Sakhalin in Russia. In addition, the Muni Republic annexed the Batanes Group of Islands from the Philippines SAR.

The culture of Muni is founded upon the nation's integration with the Sakhalin heritage. The country's cultural heritage includes contemporary Muni cuisine, which is created by Filipino immigrants and the original population of Sakhalin.

On April 24, 2021, Muni became an official member of the Commonwealth’s sister alliance, the Diamond City. On May 3, 2021, Muni participated on a global conflict against the Quack bloc and has been successful in counter attacks against numerous Black Knights nations until its last defense. Description: The Mun economy has been steady, expanding continuously after the implementation of the Jeno model. As a young nation, Muni Republic follows the principles of the Jeno School of Economics, which is similar to the Nordic model of economy as it commits itself in universalism. The citizens of Muni enjoy multiple benefits and political freedom such as universal healthcare and free education. To support the enormous social welfare, the state heavily relies on higher progressive taxes that Kamunis considered necessary. Small enterprises are greatly subsidized by the government and minimal interests are enforced on local banks.
