Since its conception the nation of Cordonia has had to fight to survive. We started small but with the help of allies we grew into something mighty, something worthy. We have watched allies rise and fall and now stand amongst even greater friends. Cordonia was raised on the pirate code and thus lived a life on the seas for a greater part of its being but alas it was not meant to be. Now we find ourselves perched upon dry ground amongst the forests and towns. Another life has called to us. The life of magic and spells. It is a new chapter in the book of life and one that is highly anticipated. For new places brings new challenges.

History: Cordonia's history is rather unknown before the coup of 2020. History books say the former leaders lead it to its ruin via inflation and boundless spending. Other nations looked in with drooling jaws as they waited for the nation to fall apart. A military coup was established and the government absolved for many months before an acting leader could be appointed. Donovan 'Don' Nightingale, an admiral in the Cordonian navy, had been chosen due to his intellect and cunning. He had helped with reforming the living conditions within the navy itself as well as the abhorrent turn around rate. Now, 2 years into his reign, the nation of Cordonia has seen numerous winning wars alongside allies both new and old. Cities are rising and populations are rising as this nation continues its rise.

Terrain: Beach line the eastern seaboard and are dotted with resort towns. Swamps flank the southern edge and are filled with wildlife and natural fauna. Cities ranging from small to mega hold up the middle and western portion while farms and manufacturing plants line the northern border.

Climate: A temperate climate most of the year. Spring is cool and rainy while summers are hot and relatively dry. Winters are cold and snowy while fall is like spring with warm yet chilly temperatures and rainy.

Description: During times of peace the economy takes on one of a capitalist nation. Armed forces can lower their numbers and allow those who wish to switch to a reservist role. Buildings are torn down to make way for commerce. When in times of war those buildings are switched to help with the war effort and any service members in the reserves are activated.

Military
History: During the coup the Cordonian Armed Forces, CAF, where shaped to what they are now. The struggling navy was modernized and maxed out to become the armada it is now. The army was retrained and officers shifted around to deployments that better suited them. Old, outdated rifles were scrapped and melted down in favor of new, modern ones. The once non existent airforce was formed and trained via hand me down planes from allies until the R&D department could finish testing and deploying of the new state of the art planes. Special Forces exist within the ranks but information is currently classified.
