The Republic of Ismir is a nation led by Steward Eli_The_Grey on the continent of North America. The Republic of Ismir's government is a Communist Democracy with very libertarian social policies. Economically, The Republic of Ismir favors extremely left wing policies. The official currency of The Republic of Ismir is the Nuevo Sol. At 1,266 days old, The Republic of Ismir is an ancient nation. The Republic of Ismir has a population of 7,324,459 and a land area of 50,000.00 sq. miles. This gives it a national average population density of 146.49. Pollution in the nation is a problem. The citizens' faith in the government is completely depleted with an approval rating of 0%.

Fleeing from the collapse of an old empire, this nation was founded by former political prisoners and ideological exiles. A proud Leveler democracy, the citizens of Ismir are determined to ensure no tyrants can threaten them from within or without.

History: Ismir's first 100 days of existance were marked by rapid expansion, helped along by it's allies in Atlas Technologies. These days are poorly recorded, mostly due to the constant wars required by Atlas in order to join their ranks. Few of these wars amounted to anything more than raiding nations without a population left to gaurd their riches. The few conflicts that did end up spilling blood ended in one-sided victories for the Ismirans.

The first two real wars the Ismiran people faced were against two pirates of Arrrgh!. The wars began with the invasion of Raiace by the Nova Romanum Imperium. Ismir was called to defend it's ally on 03/11/2021 at 03:32 AM. This war was marked by a massive increase in military spending in Ismir, with most of the Iron and Coal mines being converted into underground barracks to allow for the housing of the massive increase in troops brought on for the war. The war was easily won due to the Ismiran Air Forces Union's air superiority over the entirely infantry-based military of the Imperium. During this war another member of Atlas Technologies (The Republic of Liberland) was attacked by the leader of Arrrgh!, Rage. Ismir declared a war of retaliation on Rage. Once again the Air supremacy of the Ismiran armed forces won the day, but this time at a much higher cost as multiple cities were struck with missiles by the armed forces of Rage after they lost their army and air force. While there was some concern of a nuclear strike by Rage, as one was made during the conflict, but Ismir was able to force a surrender of Rage's government. Ismir won the war against the Imperium on 03/13/2021 at 06:11 am. Ismir won the war against Rage on 03/15/2021 at 03:43 AM.

The wars led to a massive increase in Ismiran national pride, with the defeat of the leader of the largest Pirate alliance on Orbis being a particular point of great celebration.

On 3/25/21, the fascist alliance Knights Templar declared war on the World Tasks Force, an ally of an ally to Atlas Tech. This led to Atlas Tech ordering the militarization of member nations on 3/26/21. This led to the largest mobilization in Ismir up to this point, maximizing the amount of troops that could be built. While still militarizing, Altas's ally, the Advanced Syndicalist Mechanics, was blitzed by KT. This led to Atlas and Rose officially getting involved in the war on 3/28/21. Ismir was then embroiled in a war with the Mad Dog of Shimano, which, at the time of writing, is looking to be an easy victory after initial defeats.

On 5/19/21, Ismir countered a pirate raid by attacking Libertasi. While the opening stages of the war went well Alar was nuked, leading to 200K dead. On 5/21/21 another nuke was detonated in Liberty's Bastion, killing 200K.

The time of Troubles: 10/19/21 02:19 am terrorist attacks begin in Ismir, followed by invasions from Sawh and the United Socialist Federation. These were suprising and crushing, causing a massive defeat to Ismir, and ruining its capacity to fight back. This was then followed by a pirate raid, with the conflict ceasing 10/23/21 12:15 pm with the nation in shambles.

Description: This nation has a syndicalist economy and government. The government is a representative democracy with three branches of government, a judicial, executive, and legislative branch. All branches are voted upon on varied intervals. The legislative branch has two houses, one based on the population of various regions and the other based on various economic industries, granting representation based on the population within the industry.

Companies within the various industries are run by unions. Every person in the country is allowed into whatever union they work in, or if unemployed they join another union for the unemployed. Each citizen within an industry votes on workplace policy in a direct democracy or republic based on how the company's constitution is laid out. In addition, workers vote on their bosses and CEOs in order to make the workplace more democratic. In addition to voting on industry and company policies, workers also vote on the representatives sent into the Senate to represent their industry.
