History: The Grand Holy Godly Bunger Supreme Empire Is a state populated by mostly Bungers. These Bungers enjoy some of the best standards of living anywhere in the universe. They have a powerful ketchup farming industry.

Geography:

Teirelsia is a large country located in the southern hemisphere on the continent Cillicia. Surrounded on all sides by water, desert, or mountains, Teirelsia has been; until quite recently, isolated from the rest of the world. This means that Teirelsians have developed a very distinct culture and national identity.

Teirelsia for most of its history (excluding the time of the Berian empire and current day) has been confined mostly to the south of the Lantou mountains in the aptly named Teirelsian plains. These plains are the most fertile piece of land on the continent, perfect for harboring a prosperous civilization. Today, unlike the rest of the continent, the Teirelsian plains are highly develpoed. It also is home to a large, and unified population.

However to the north of the Lantou mountains it is a different story. They people that live in this region are usually grouped under the name "Namikians." This is used mostly out of convenience because in reality the region has a very diverse and separated population. This part of Teirelsia is not nearly as developed as its southern counterpart, but the living standards are still slightly higher compared to the rest of the continent, thanks to the money they receive in the form of investment and services from he south.

History:
Teirelsia as a nation dates back to around the end of the 15 century, when Cillicia and Ossola first began large trading operations with each other (Cillicia exporting raw resources and fruits, and Ossola fine goods and metals.) These new trade routes made it possible for Teirelsians to acquire advanced technologies and tactics which in turn allowed them to begin conquering other nearby tribes. Some 200 or so years after trade began, Teirelsia was able to piece together a large portion of the western Teirelsian plains into a new country. Which then set off to slowly bring all of the southern part of Cillicia under one flag; it was deemed, the Berian empire, the direct precursor to Teirelsia.

While being the largest and most powerful state on the entire continent, the Berian empire had the impossible task of keeping the many warring tribes in its conquered territories united and at peace with one another. This soon proved to be too much for the relatively small population of Teirelsians living in the empire, and it began its slow decline all across the early years of the 16 century.

In an attempt to halt the decline of the empire, emperor Jinro II began implementing drastic measures and changes all across the empire. These include mandatory service for all Teirelsians of healthy age for at least 3 years, appointing Teirelsians and heads of all provinces including those of different cultures, and declaring full power over the empire. While this was effective at halting the empire's collapse, resentment from all ends of the empire began to build up.

After Jinro II's passing in 1567, he left his only son Jinro III to take his place as head of the empire. Jinro III, although prepared for life as emperor, and of sufficient age and intellect, ruled with an even stronger fist than the father before him. This caused the already boiling ethnic tensions to explode, and civil war broke the empire into pieces.

Jinro III, shortly after the beginning of the war, abdicated out of fear of execution with no hiers. This left the empire fragmented, and without a leader. Soon much of the continent had reverted back to its former tribal ways. Excluding the Teirelsian plains, who split into many feudal rulers. This became the status quo for the next few centuries until the Teirelsia pact of peace federalised into modern day Teirelsia.

Spared from the "great reversion" caused by the collapse of the Berian empire, the new state flourished and built itself into a modern and developed state, and par with those on Ossola. This new Teirelsia in desperate need of resources believed that they had the right to rule over any land of the former empire (being its direct successor) if it meant prosperity for its people. This caused them to annex the area of the Namkani region after a coup by pro Teirelsian politicians in the year 1889
