History: Ollyland was first inhabited by the Ollyan tribe three-thousand years ago. Following an extensive history involving many unsuccessful invasions, the area of which became known as Ollyland and was annexed by Oceania in 1746 AD. Following growing public support for independence, the Ollyans gained new devolutionary powers, which were extended in 1799 AD to enable Ollyland to claim independence following a localised referendum. Finally, on 4th May 1801, the public voted immensely (96%) in support of Ollyan Independence. At 11:00pm local time, Ollyland become once-again an independent nation.

Terrain: Ollyland mainly has a flat terrain, with the beach surrounded by large cliffs, mostly exceeding 200 metres above sea level. Through the centre of Ollyland and separating Olly City from Mayfair is the Olly Canyon, a 544 metre deep gorge. The River Olly flows through Olly City, linking the capital with Pontypandy.

Climate: Ollyland has a cool temperate climate.
