With the recent attack on the nation of Gwald Emrys by the military forces of Sawh, with whom Gwald Emrys shares a border, the Reunited States military has been deployed to the nation. Its current objective is to defend important strategic locations such as cities, ports, and airports. The Reunited States President had this to say regarding the invasion:
"While the nation of Sawh is a close ally of ours, such an action as invading Gwald Emrys, which has recently been annexed by The Reunited States, is completely unacceptable. Sawh will find itself at the other end of American guns if the do not cease their aggressive actions at once. The claim that they have come to liberate these people is just untrue, these people voted for unification, and I will defend the democratic will of the people until my last breath. May God bless Gwald Emrys, may God bless you, and may God bless these Reunited States of America."
The President himself is also in Gwald Emrys, along with certain members of his staff, to manage the crisis from a short distance. The Emrys military is fighting bravely along its Eastern border, but is being pushed back as Sawh invaded with no warning. Only time will tell what the situation will mean for the world, as well as the alliance of IKEA, whom all combatants are member states of.
