New policies about school punishments

On the 26th of April 2099, George, a high school student was murdered outside of his school at 15:20. George was being bullied from the early start of primary school and the it only got worse. George on the 23rd of April was beaten up and it was reported to the Principal who would expell 6 kids for 3 days. This was the 3rd time that they would beat him up this year.... on the 26th of April George would leave school at 14:00 go home and then go for groceries. He passed outside of the school were the guys that got expelled were there. The 6 kids at 15:20 beat him up to the point he lost consciousnes and died. Passers by called the Ambulance and police were both of them would get there at 15:25. The murders left there while the Ambulance got him to the Emergency department of "Saint Theodores General Hospital of Vysantinoupol" where he was declared officialy dead. The police has arrested all 6 teens that were involved plus their parents. The prosecutor said that the kids can be facing 30 years in Prison and the parents 20.

After this, Protests have been going around Meg and Strikes have also being constant. The government of Meg passed through the Parliament the new law considering school punishments.

The law 

The law passed with 268 in favour, 31 against and 1 Abstain. It got support by the 2 government parties, New Meg and Liberal - Conservative Union, Megisian Spartans for the Motherland, Christian Nationalist Macedonian Party. It got opposed by All together, Socialist Movemen & Communist Party. 

New Vouchers for New categories of people

The Minister of Walfare has announced 3 new Vouchers for mainly new categories of people. The Minister said that the state is here to help in this slow global economic crisis that we are heading. Economic crisis has slowly started to come to Meg with many people not having jobs and inflation going up. 

Family voucher 

Eligibility:

• 2+ children under the age of 18
• 1 parent unemployed (while looking for job)
• Overall income per year less than 13.500€ 

Bonuses:

• 550€ 3 times payment (1st payment: 15 May 2099, 2nd: 15 July 2099, 3rd: 15 September 2099)

Youth Pass

Eligibility:

• Over 17 years old 
• Under 22 years old 
• Income less than 12.000€ per year

Bonuses:

• 300€ per month for 3 months (June,July,august)

Single parent bonus 

Eligibility:

• Single parent 
• Annual income less than 13.500€

Bonuses:

• 700€ one time payment 

  Tensions in Parliament 

We had tensions in the Megsian Parliament the last days were there were discussions about new laws coming. The parties have not stopped arguing about everything. A fight also broke out with the extreme right Megisian Spartans for the Motherland and extreme left Communist Party. Members of the Parliament started beating each other until guards stopped them. 

The new laws that are currently being discussed:

1. Ammendment Removal - end on property and vechicle warrantless Searches 
2. Bill - construction of 20 new wind turbines 
3. Ammendment add - end of smoking at closed areas 
4. Bill - Investment of 1 Billion € to Air Meg 
5. Bill - Order of 50 new military aircrafts
