The PRON continues work on constitution:

July 17th 2098

Topic 1: Unification:

The government, in the last couple of months, had been working on a finalized draft of the constitution that would greatly improve the ability of our people to experience prosperity and equality. The constitution(which will finally replace the provisional one) will reflect the wants of the people.Two sets of articles have been outlined specifically to address this purpose.

The People's Identity Article: Every member of the Nexiren mainland(regardless of their social statuses or economic position) is officially granted an honorable status. Every citizen is not just a citizen of the state. Every citizen, regardless of who they are, is Nexiren. People are still allowed to practice any belief, faith, culture, and religion that they want; but the state will still encourage the term Nexiren. As such a new identity is expected to develop, alongside influences of other cultures, that will focus on the idea that we are a people even if the people are different.

The national anthem, schools, businesses, billboards, cars, etc. The name Nexiren shall be pasted and honored as our people rise strong. A new Era, one which will be pushed forward by our government, will see our People's lives unified!

The Leader's Article: President Nexire Malik, now aged 45 years old, is concerned about the many divisions that still exist in the country, and that his ability to use his power to effectively do his duty feels limited. As such he has proposed a radical system to take place in the new constitution. The people still yearn for a strong leader and many still believe in the power of a King. Many want privatization and many want communism. How do we balance this?

A pro-Monarchy rally in March 2098. Over 20 000 people attended and blocked the streets for days. The government knows the population is largely split.

As such the radical policy is as follows: The ex-King Mohailk will be invited back as a semi-constitutional monarch. Nexire Malik will resign as president and in turn become the first, non-Royal, Nexiren citizen to become the Grand Noble Vizier(head of government[Is elected by the top three parties])The monarchy will allow elections, the three highest parties will rule government, with the Monarch being able to pass decrees to make decisions(though he requires a two/thirds majority in the parliament), and under it will be a Prime Minister(the ceremonial and semi-executive head of state).

To simplify:

-King/Queen(Head of the Nation. Can pass decrees through parliament. Semi-constitutional)

- Grand Noble Vizier(Head of Government. In control of all the same functions as a president. Can do policies without the King[but the king can petition against these decisions in parliament])

-Prime Minister(Head of State. Second in command of Vizier. Performs duties assigned).

A referendum has been sent to the people. A response on the matter will be taken after a period of four months.

Topic 2: Foreign Affairs

The People's Republic of Nexiren, soon to be renamed the Kingdom of Nexiren(or KON), has officially declared solidarity with the neutral countries of the world.

The PRON has declared that all war ships(of either side of the conflict) have been designated as follows. Entering our patrolled waters will be seen as war. We ask that permission is asked first(unless we give permission). Otherwise ships will be destroyed. A task Force is being readied.  

Minor headlines:

-PRON Defenders(Army) adopts Victorian Army training methods and incorporates into its own.

-The six thousand weopans have been recieved from the SF. 

- A new military academy in the Gabon Free State is being planned. Will be named upon completion in February of 2099(est.)
